As someone who listened to the other version first, i really liked the soft ending that kept the mystical feeling of the whole song through to the end. It is surprising to find out he cut out what feels like a whole section of the song tho.

I think he said that he wrote this song at the same time as he wrote “Lifeline.” I feel like the songs are kind of similar so I think he chose Lifeline to be on apple instead of this
