I’m definitely in favor of overtime rules that improve the value of employees. Working on food and beverage I’ve seen far too much overtime excluded due to misclassification. Shareholders are no doubt freaking out in response, how will they ever get by earning less than 20% roi? Though, wages are not the end of the journey, something must be done to stymie inflation and the absorption of wealth by the wealthy from low/middle classes.

Hmmm. You failed to mention the fact that those programs that were available for that single mom are now being taken away and/or cut in half. I believe I saw a video where a recipient said his SNAP deposit went down to $93 a month. Apparently, these programs are being used for I.I.s instead.
