    0:00 - Intro
    3:12 - Why do some steroids cause increased cholesterol and some don't?
    5:10 - Solutions for back acne.
    10:55 - Off season question. Dave when you were coming up was your goal just getting BIG or did you strategize body parts. For example, I have good arms and calf genetics so I train them less. Back is lagging. So I focus on the lagging body parts more. Thoughts?
    So did you take differences in body part genetics for growth or did u just eat, lift and go for SIZE?
    13:20 - Knowing what you now know as an older bodybuilder is there gear you would NOT take now. Example. TRT, Winstrol, deca Masteron etc.
    14:43 - Is it important to occassionally test your one rep max?
    17:05 - Dave is it true that the body does not absorb all of the protein and nutrients from drinking raw eggs compared to cooking your eggs and eating them.
    18:30 - I fell off the bandwagon a few years ago and am now planning on getting on stage again. During my time off I developed a lot of visceral fat and a belly from heavy beer drinking. Aside from the obvious of stopping the drinking - any tips on reducing a hard bloated stomach?
    20:48 - Did Sid enjoy Alabama with the Whack Pack and did he return home thinking, "holy hell, I'm normal?"
    24:00 - What are your thoughts on SGLT2 inhibitors such as Jardiance and Farxiga for controlling blood sugars? They also claim to have kidney and heart protective properties.
    28:00 - I was originally taking 200mg of testosterone for HRT before ever lifting a weight, for 3-4 years. So, after a cycle, if I understand Dave correctly, I should NOT go back to my 200mg of testosterone? If I don’t go back to my HRT dose, what protocol do I follow?
    29:30 - When your backstage for your tan, is it fine to sit on the floor or lean on the wall after getting tanned? If not how would you rest yourself till you get called up?

    Another great tip to reduce acne would be to check your SHBG. Mine was bottomed out so all I did to fix it was simply do my test shots 2x a week instead of every other day. After doing that, my acne cleared up greatly

      @@R.P.E Unless it’s Holsten Pils beer  All the sugar is turned to alcohol that’s why diabetics drink it. They shouldn’t drink anything really but they do.
      The problem with alcohol and diabetes is that even if the drink contains no sugar, your body turns the alcohol itself into glucose in the hours after drinking it. So I’ve read anyway, don’t know if its true.

      @@R.P.E There are alcohol options with very little sugar and carbs, many beer types for instance. @R.P.E Před 20 dny

      @@Underhills True and dedicated athletes don’t consume alcohol. Regardless, you’re trying to find some unjustified excuse for an alternative to drink because it has ‘lower carbs and sugars’. Alcohol is nothing more than a poison that’s unnecessary in someone’s diet, and offers zero caloric benefit. There’s no need for it. Some of the most dedicated athletes in the world, (with Olympians, weightlifters, bodybuilders, etc.,), don’t consume alcohol, because it only inhibits muscle growth and affects testosterone levels. There’s no argument here. Everything I said is factual.

    What about the theory of its liquid physics that causes plaque? Arteries are under pressure but veins are not, only in the arteries plaque will form and only in certain areas, like bends. High blood pressure and none flexible arteries are damaged by swirling blood damaging the walls. Cholesterol comes along to fix the damage but isn’t the cause. I like this theory no idea if true.

  • @Underhills

    Beer belly is a stupid expression. There's no such phenomena, just like there's no pizza belly. You gonna get fat if you overconsume anything and the belly will grow as a result, no matter if your drinking your calories or not. Beer, candy, fries, burgers, pizza, wine, booze, coke etc. Take your pick! Btw, Mr Olympia is named after the beer brand Olympia beer. True story.

    • @R.P.E
      @R.P.E Před 20 dny +1

      It’s NOT a stupid expression. The reason the term ‘beer belly’ exists, is because of all the Barley and hops in alcohol, which causes distended bloating, hence how it’s got its name. The expression makes complete sense. No one gets super bloated from eating just sugar, bread, etc. Alcohol causes natural bloating, and it’s one of the main reasons why so many males are overweight, because they have no self-control when it comes to alcohol and/or they have no idea about how much they’re consuming.

    • @Underhills
      @Underhills Před 20 dny

      @@R.P.E Millions of people get bloated by eating sugar, bread, wheat and starch. The "beer belly" thing is a myth busted by people with medical knowledge a long time ago. You get expanded belly by weight gain. Millions have a large bloated belly without having touched a drop of alcohol. People are drinking fruit smoothies and juices while thinking they are healthy options, that's so wrong. Many beer types have less sugar and carbs than those.

    • @R.P.E
      @R.P.E Před 20 dny

      @@Underhills You’re obfuscating the point entirely for the sake of being defensive. The main core ingredients in alcohol, specifically beer, is Barley and hops, which combined in your abdomen ferments into gas that causes distention, hence ‘beer belly’. I have no other way of explaining this to you, it’s basic science. And it generally happens those who consume alcohol frequently. That’s not a myth, that’s exactly what it is.
      Everyone here knows that you can get a distended abdomen in other ways, but the pregnant belly effect that males carry around that looks bulbous and hard, is largely due to alcohol. There’s no need to deflect away from the basics here.

      Not necessarily. Accutane doesn’t come without side effects either. Not only that, but it didn’t work for Sam Sulek, when he took Accutane. Sometimes genetically some people just have bad skin, and then taking gear on top of that, is just Freddy Krueger disaster face and back. And then there are some people who take compounds that have no acne whatsoever. It’s down entirely to genetics, but Accutane is not the entire answer either. You have to find what works and what doesn’t with compounds.

      Mega dose Pantothenic Acid/Vitamin-B5 2000mg+ titrating up to said dose is legitimately Natures Accutane but in many ways it’s actually superior. It only works in dramatically reducing the amount of sebum the body produces, as opposed to literally ALL the oil in the way that Accutane dose which always leads to side effects and that’s not even mentioning the liver toxicity of Accutane… Which B5 certainly doesn’t do… It’s miraculous, honestly. Just look up B5/Pantothenic Acid Acne on CZcams and Google Scholar, also Pubmed and you’ll see that this is totally legit, very effective and actually works very very quickly unlike Accutane which has to build up in the body to exert its effects.. Good luck homies!
