When Wits End plus Divine give defense and do more damage than Hextech and Gnashers, then there's a balancing issue.
The balancing issue is that Katarina has to good hybrid scaling and to high base damage. No other assassin or for the matter of fact bruiser can build like that way and oneshot everything on their path. And do you know what actually causes Katarina to deal so much damage with those items? The fact that Riot gave Katarina the ability to deal on-hit damage with her passive and R.
Its not the items that are broken. Those are fine compared to something Kraken, LDR or Eclipse.

A level 6 Katarina can oneshot or almost oneshot any squishy champ without any bonus AD / AS / AP.

every few weeks i come back to check the state of league to see whether or not its safe to play a game or so. and then i see 5 people running from a tank mythic darius with black cleaver.
its incredible how fucking shit this game has become over the past few years.
Some bruisers build a Tank or Assassin item and Riot goes "oh hell no! We cant have that in the game! Nerf the entire class!". Katarina builds tank and still oneshots and Riot goes like "This is fine. This is good game design".
they keep trying to nerf it but they are brainletss and for some reason want kraken katarina to be a thing

4:18 Faker was trying to bait Katevolved to go back in because the Rakan and Lee Sun were right there. He expected the Rakan and Lee to jump on him, shield him, and stun Katarina for the kill. Unfortunately neither the Rakan nor the Lee player had the same reaction time as Katevolved or Faker.
Yeah but nah he inted, Kat blinks so not much time to react, basically have to predict it, but can't predict faker was going to kill himself after being safe

I think the reason for the chinese super server players are playing on kr is bc kr server just recently got chinese as client language, this could be seen on the videos covered for beifeng but it is written in chinese if you want to check yourselves.

I think the problem relies on bruiser items being so broken
They offer so much benefits on top of damage whereas ap assasins item are just not it. That combined with Kat’s intrinsic mobility and resets just makes for a horrible combo (from a kat main myself)
Problem with Katarina is the on-hit effect they added to her ultimate. Ever since they added it, it became a problem. Not to mention her high base damage which allows her to also build tank/bruiser items without losing much.

The only reason she does good damage without building damage is the on hit effects, it has nothing to do with base numbers, the on hit effects do the majority of her damage
Sunderer it's just broken asf, Katarina on Highelo is one of the hardest champs to play with, at the moment you need to build half bruiser ou full bruiser on assassins cause if you don't build it, you will be a minion waiting to be killed

It’s sad seeing everyone saying Faker is bad or Faker got gapped. Man literally got ganked by the entire enemy team every 3 seconds and still ended the game with the highest cspm and a level lead. He played around his team and made some sick plays to get Darius fed. People really need to stop having the silver mindset that kda is the only indicator of success or skill in a match.

The funny thing is you can look at Darius or Kat and say the same thing. "Both champions going full tank both can 1 shot". This just shows tanks are unbalanced. You can't win the game playing assasin because tanks are too broken

build is disgsting kat mains dont like it either but there is no other option at this point u cant fix ap kata by giving her 5% more ratio she is to squishy to play full ap, they removed her early game damage (gunblade) and sustain (gunblade ,rav hunter, dura patchh making riftmaker dogshit item) so the moment a not ultra fed ap kata goes in they at max get 1 kill before they die

@@lashedandscorned very late but that's because no on hit effects, that wouldn't do any damage. Having items with on hit effects is essential on kat since that's where most her damage comes from if you aren't full ap.

Play a super simple champion and work on fundamentals.
Example for every role: Garen, Warwick, Annie, Miss Fortune, (any enchanter, Nautilus)
Fundamental examples: Creep Score / Lasthitting, Trade when the enemy uses spells on minions, you have the range advantage or you have more sustain.
Id advice working on Macro first and figuring out when you want to do what (do i follow his roam, do i wanna take this fight ...)
You can find out either by just trying out different stuff or analysing your replay and deducting based on the evidence provided.
After that the Micro will naturally evolve once you do more "flashy" plays with simple champs.
First its simple with simple champ,
then flashy with simple champ,
then simple with flashy champ,
then flashy with flashy champ.
For buildpath and runes just copy u.gg suggested page. It works almost 90% of the time.

About Ahri: not true. She now deals only 5% less dmg with a FULL combo than before rework. Her Ap scalings are much higher than before to make up for the missing 20% charm amp. You also do not have to hit charm first for the dmg and you overall deal a lot more dmg in teamfights because everyone gets more dmg from the increase of her base dmg and scalings. Also you have more dashes= more dmg.
Also her dmg vs a single target is not really lower than the dmg from other mages with 1 combo. Its 3,05 ap + 1300. Vex for example is considered to be a high burst mage and she actually has less ap scaling(30% ap less) and only 150 base dmg more.
She often deals less dmg because ppls build everfrost into zhonyas. If you build no dmg you deal no dmg. Obivously.
For me Ahri is a lot of fun.

All the chinese guys playing on KR for around two months now because:
1. A relatively famous streamer named JJking (fiora-king) started his climb in Kr server early March and achieved 900 Lp with 70% wr, which made him even more popular for a while. This started a trend among chinese streamers to prove themselves in the KR server.
2. Chinese servers have long been notoriously discredited because of win-trading and the nature of these servers being under control of Tencent (the central idea: chinese companies do not treat chinese as humans)
3. The Kr server is widely held as the best server even among the more patriotic players in China

I think we should skip the topic about balance. If people didnot realize it yet, there will be never a balance in this game. And what I mean is that the game has too much variables and from technical perspective you cant handle every situation or do a test on that. If they nerf katarina for a reason, there will be another champion/build that will breake the so called "meta". Thats why there are people who main certain champions and they are good on them, cuz they go trough all of nerfs/buffs on the champion and they adapt the fun fact is players maining teemo and playing on challenger elo. What I consider is big problem is the ad vs ap not consistency and what I mean is that ad has so opstion for you to build with tank/bruiser builds while have sustain and ignore armor, while AP dont have that. Is absolutely ridiculous when you are full 600 AP caster and you cast every single abillity you have on a target and you cant take 20% of his HP, cuz he have 400 MR, but the same champion comes near you and you easly die, cuz he is doing more dmg then you can take. But this is what it is, adapt on the game if you want to push Ranks or be like me, play it when you have 1h spare time. :)
