I know this comment is highly unlikely to reach its mark, but after hearing some of the things George said in this episode I just feel it's important to say; You're an excellent human being, George, and don't for a second try and trick yourself into believing you're dead inside. You're one of the most thoughtful, uplifting and engaging human beings on this planet and I, for one, have been greatly inspired by this podcast. I also think that Gil has been one of the greatest blessings, not just to this podcast but to you personally. He admires you greatly and has genuine love for you. You can tell he already sees you as close family and we know by how much he cries that this man will do anything for family.
I write all this because I don't ever want to hear anything tragic involving George Lopez. You mean too much to people and I don't want your darkest days to convince you otherwise. You're a force for good in this world! Never forget that!

I used to go to the Jai Alai games in Tijuana in the 70's when I was a kid. I can remember waiting in line to meet the players and get autographed photos. Dog races at Agua Caliente was cool too.

George I got more info from your Instagram post of local and current events bcz it was truthful. I grew up in East Los Logan st area. Before you the only Chicano celib was Tony Quintana aka Anthony Quin. The valley was Richie Valenzuela. Your act brought up memories my dad experienced. And that's how I see your pod casts and comedy 🤣. If anything I think your grand ma didn't want you to be week or picked on. And you stand up (no pun) truthful, values and morals. I find your you tube pod casts very informative. And educational. Thank you for being real. Chhiiiaaaaaaooooooo!!!!!

You know George is amazing and jokes a lot because that is just him, but if you listen to some of the things he is saying he is crying for help or is in a struggle internally. When he says I am emotionally dead inside 6:55 does not laughs that is a sign of something going on. He is amazing and has an incredible friend in Gill, but when he says I am dead inside you could tell that Gill noticed something is wrong as well by the look on his face after George says it.❤️

Mr. Lopez, to have that affect on people is healing. To help others dig deep like that, to come face to face with their own raw emotions is a gift. Do you realize that? I can not believe you remain emotionally dead because at some point a comedian or two who in part inspired you to become who you are, made YOU become emotionally ALIVE. You have an innate ability to connect with guests which engages us as viewers. As Gil stated when he meets up with you all, he forgets about anything “outside” and has a genuine good time. We all pick up on that and it makes us feel included thanks to the fact that you are

I love George his early comedy stand up and I remember as a teenager I loved watching the George Lopez I loved the characters in the show angie,max,carmen,vic,benny,ernie etc etc seen you on tv was a great feeling because I was able to finally see someone as dark as myself on television.
