    Little late to the party, but you're a legend for these mock ups. Much appreciated my friend!

    if someone doesn't know how to make the grid, just create a square or rectangle with solid color and works exactly the same.

    Thanks again. Can you please instruct how to create camouflage color variations about the hat.

      Very difficult for something like that. I use the image provided by the company and build my warped template on top of it.

    this is great but only works good if you have a mockup with texture like your patch....most of the time we are mocking up hats because we want to see what a digital design would look like with texture, so this is missing a key aspect of mockups. i appreciate the help for other parts of building out the mockup though!

      I usually use the embroidery stitch sheet and recolor as necessary. It is a great visual for embroidery.

    Is it the same process if i want to do the full hat custom inside and all around?

    • @screenprintermike
      @screenprintermike  Před rokem

      absolutely. In my links a have a r112 with all angles and every facet of the hat can be recolored.

    Thanks for this vid. What if you wanted to omit the sticker and replace with continuity of the fabric and stitches? Is there an AI feature to help with that?

    • @screenprintermike
      @screenprintermike  Před 6 měsíci

      Personally I would use the photoshop clone tool for that, but AI might help remove it.

    How’d you make the grid?

    • @screenprintermike
      @screenprintermike  Před rokem

      I made it precisely in illustrator before pasting it into photoshop

      Do you make the grid in AI?

    • @screenprintermike
      @screenprintermike  Před 11 měsíci

      @@LSTRND1 I did. It’s in the file as a smart layer.

  • @LSTRND1

    How do you build the grid?

    • @lastyhopper2792
      @lastyhopper2792 Před 11 měsíci

      I think you can take whatever grid.png you can find on the internet, so long as it has transparency and possess the correct dimension you'd need for the hat (16:9 or 4:3).
      You can even draw it yourself in the Photoshop if you wish. Just make sure it got big resolution (by transform it to enlarge them) before changing the layer into smart object.
