Well i think its because firefly jp va is tomori, she's voicing makima in chainsaw man but she's voicing shigure kira in honkai impact, Kira in Honkai Impact has a typical voice like a chatty and noisy girl so I didn't realize that Kira and Firefly have the same JP VA

I chose the acting path on purpose because I thought that I'll get to interact with her more and dang, I was right on the mark. It's also funny that there's now 2 choices that players might regret, relating to Firefly. The first is using up all of her budget and now, choosing the action path.

to be honest it makes sense for Firefly to get frustrated here, it's an urgent situation and your goofy ass keeps teasing her
I play in KR and I'm very bummed that the *laughs was omitted, leading to the MC leaving Firefly flabbergasted and not giving her a laugh. But other than that she remains my favorite version of Firefly. She's the sweetest.
EN Firefly showing frustration and still having a laugh was adorable too. Especially in the Hanu section, Firefly sounds SO done.

Kusonoki Tomori Firefly is like she always whispers to your ears ASMR girlfriend mode, while the EN Firefly was so done from your daddy jokes and wants to end this as quickly as possible.

All of the CN, JP, KR derived from ancient Chinese, I suppose this makes translation between these languages easier. But EN does has lots of flaws, including the end of 2.1, where the part that Sunday claims Gallagher is a minion of "Mystery" is omitted at the beginning.

All were great, but JP firefly was my favorite.
No gonna Lie CN firefly as cute as JP firefly both really sound soft and cutepie, also KR she sound cute to. not really shock with EN interpretation always going aggressive.
Isn't Firefly's CN VA basically Tao Dian, that also voiced Kiana in Houkai3rd? Sounds exactly like her...

Not gonna lie, I love Firefly's EN voice.....but I think she overdid the irritation in her voice a tiny bit (I don't mind TOO much, when I remember how she's like when she's wearing the armor).
well maybe since they're in a mission and we keep choosing the wrong choice firefly EN sound pretty angry or done with TB attitude...i didn't choose the acting but action and see the JP version alot more so i'm suprise she sound pissed in EN. Nonetheless i still like it (i play in EN dub)

@@kisaragiryuu I've heard that EN VAs didn't get much direction on the original CN direction, hence, why EN VA direction seems so different. The same case also happened for Genshin too, even Neuvillete's EN VA said that he'd wanted to redo his lines after seeing the end result post-release.

Thankyou for including EN! people says JP is cute but the only part i find cute is only 3:28. I like EN more because seeing angry firefly is like seeing another part of her that she normally hide. I mean teasing someone until they get angry is what make it fun, right?

Tsk tsk. Do you know what makes jp lovers love jp and saying it fits more than en? Its because their predetermined bias in voice tone for Firefly is "quiet" and "calm" from the impression they supposedly thought from her as an innocent naive girl of the Stellaron Hunters. But are you really sure its supposed to be like like? Who are you to give direction of what a voice is supposed to be like? Or are you just hooked up on jp too much that your ears are immediately set on impression of "quiet" and "calm".
But if I say the kind of voice from the impression of Firefly, I would just say "normal". And do you know why I chose en? Compared to jp, en has a free range of pitch from low to high, making emotions enter freely. From what I'm getting here, jp is just too calm and silent like a rodent.
Isn't the problem here that she ONLY sounded angry in EN tho? The original is CN and she sounded just as calm as JP and in KR she sounded almost happy, EN is the only outlier here
