Very helpful! The shop I paid to install my bags is telling me it is t possible to install these sensors on my s3, but everyone else including bag riders where I bought the kit from is saying it’s very possible. I do think I’m mechanically inclined enough do this on my own. Afraid of screwing it up. My ocd makes it hard to make decisions and I question evening unless I know for sure this is how it’s done.
Take your time and with some patience I promise you can do it without an issue.
Thanks for the video I'm having trouble with the concept the application of where to put it and this explains it all. Thank god for CZcams.
I’m glad it was able to help you out. That makes my day to know I have helped at least 1 person 🙏🙏🙏
Very good video Thanks
Solid Info that I was unable to find. Thank you.
My pleasure, Glad it helped 🙌🙌
That sway bar moves
Great video but in the future please remove the MUSIC in background. Its hard to listen to someones instructions and music playing
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it
This was helpful to me! Thank you
You are very welcome 👍👍
thanks for the info
Cheers 🍻
So helpful thanks
My pleasure 🙏🙏
Thanks brother
My Pleasure and Thank you
Hello sir, how do you know how far to compress the bags when checking for sensor travel? I jacked up my front suspension but I’m afraid of damaging my bag.
You can compress it all the way, just don’t lift the car off the jack. You just have to use your best judgement and you won’t wreck the bag. It’s compresses that far when you air out
Thank you for the fast response,
Wow this is better customer service than the place I bought my bags from!
Thank you for the great tutorial, keep up the great work 👍🏼
Thank you and I am always glad to help a fellow enthusiast out 👍👍
Sir how the Load is Defined on Spring With respect to Arm Movement. Can it Affect the Height Sensor
When you put a heavier load in the car the height sensor can sense that which increases the pressure in the bags to keep the car at the set height
Awesome video how did you make the front brackets for the sensors to go around the sway bar?
I used a piece of sheetmetal to basically make a clamp around the sway bar, bolted it together with the end of the rod for the height sensor. If you send me a message on IG I can send you some photos.
How is the longevity of the 3h system ?
So far it’s been great with no issues. Almost 4 years on the 335 and coming up to a year on the M3
People say the sensors give issues frequently have you noticed that? I wanna get the 3h system on my car that’s why I’m asking thanks for your help
In all honesty the sensors are not install friendly, they are incredibly finicky to get set up the first time but once they are all dialled in they work flawlessly from my experience.
How did the calibration go?
It took some tweaking but I finally got it to calibrate correctly
@@HQGARAGE did you auto calibrate or manual calibrate?
I did the auto calibrate and then adjusted the heights to what I liked after the fact.
@@HQGARAGE ok thanks
I just said F it and got 3P to install myself...lol
Yeessssssss you got this and it’ll be amazing when your done.
