How to install Payment Terminal iCT250 & iPP350
Get started in 10 easy steps to install Terminal iCT250 & iPP350 Plug & play
1. Check the contents of the box:
(1) Payment terminal ICT250
(2) Pinpad IPP350
(3) Communication cable
(4) Ethernet-cable
(5) Magic box
(6) Adapter
(7) Power supply cable
2. Place your payment terminal (1) and pinpad (2) near an electrical outlet and a phone or ethernet connection.
3. Take the HDMI plug on the communication cable (3) and plug it into the socket on the bottom of the pinpad.
4. There are two covers on the underside of the payment terminal. Open the top cover by pressing the two clips up. You will see a plug block with five plugs and two caps.
5. Cut the two caps off the plug block.
6. Plug the usb plug on the communication cable into the usb socket on the payment terminal. The payment terminal and pinpad are now connected. Place the communication cable in the lead throughs. Guide the ethernet cable (4) around the usb plug, so there is enough space to close the cover. Place the cover back on the payment terminal.
7. Connect the payment terminal to the internet. Plug the ethernet cable into the magic box (5) in the socket indicated by ‘ETH’. Plug the other end of the cable into a router or telephone network wall socket.
8. Connect the adapter to the magic box. Then use the power supply cable (7) to connect the adapter to the electricity supply. The terminal will turn on immediately.
9. After a short start-up process, the text ‘Insert new paper roll. Press button…’ will appear. Press any button.
10. The following instruction will appear on your payment terminal screen: ‘Terminal is locked! Please enter terminal unlock pin to unlock terminal.’ Enter the Transport Password that was sent to you by email. The payment entry screen will appear.
