#GUITAR #MUSIC #GUITARIST - Hudba
All those guitars have one thing in common. Their existence is justified by Justin Johnson.
Bam yes!
And he plays the hell out of em. Who else does that??
I dig that
@@King_cat9 No one like Justin definitely.
Yeah!!!
I just love the fact that he uses the ammo can guitar to lay "Give Me Back My Bullets". He is a master in every way.
Damn, i did not catch that the first time around, good call out! Awesome
2:48 gimme back my bullets with that 3-string is heavenly beautiful
Played on ammo can, of course. I bet putting bullets in it would definitely alter the sound.
Agreed! Thanks Justin for including the Ammo Can!
It is my favorite of his songs, the tone is just so unreal.
Has anyone took the time to make a play/guitar list with time stamps?
I've never watched a 25-minute trailer for an artist's talent before. I want this to become more of a thing.
A lap steel guitar made out of a skateboard?! 😮 That is some mad scientist level genius right there!
Whatever you play sounds incredible. There's nothing better than your brand of dirty blues after a long day.
If you keep playing I'll keep listening 👍
Plus you can get 20% of its components at the hardware store in the dawer handle section.
Yah I met the inventor of that brand. It’s cool design
@16:24 "While my old car gently leaks" (marvel mystery oil)!
Me: "Justin what's wrong?!"
Justin, staring at a bag of doritos: "I can play this"
I would be a fool to bet against it....
Sorry, Justin, that's nacho instrument...
hey.. I do that too... it's an integral part of my ADT drums... any damned thing... pair of chopsticks.. next thing ya know.. you too are a rock and roll star 🌟... far out man... pretty cheap way to hit the big time
so to speak... don't hit em too hard if you still want to eat them... quells my enthusiasm.. jest a little
my black cat likes Doritos... he is actually pretty enthusiastic about it
that ammo can sounded pretty sweet. I sometimes think Justin may have spent an evening or two doing some business at the crossroads.
Every time I listen to Justin, I am more impressed. While I have always loved dazzling displays of virtuousity, Justin expresses in fewer notes, with space, tome, feel and melody, sustaining interest and attention long after the shredders become boring and redundant.
PROOF: You can improvise anything but talent....And the willingness to WORK HARD.....
I honestly believe Justin Johnson is a true genius.
I'll have to agree with you on that one.
He sure is! I love to look at all the boots he has!! And wears um so well!! And I keep thinking he's go pull off a boot and play it! He kicks ass! I so love ❤ everything he plays And does. I found him by accident 3 or 4 days ago and it's been non stop JUSTIN every since and it's go stay that way! I'm in AWE!
Kinda kills the hole tone wood argument.
In my opinion, electric guitars get the majority their tone from their pickups and whatever amp you put them through. Tone wood really only makes a difference in acoustics.
@@eggyboi1217 You're honestly correct. There are a few people who have done proper scientific test of this to find the only thing tone wood changes in electrics is the length of resonance. Even then it's hardly anything and the change in tone is pretty much imperceptible to the human ear
A guitar is not made with a soul, you have to give it one.
@@markusgarvey Amen, brother
@@SoulofAncient !
Justin is my man. I can listen to him playing all day. Not only is the playing amazing but there is no shortage of style in Justin.
Это великолепно! Талантливое владение инструментом, виртуозное обращение со странными музыкоиздающими предметами! Поражён и восхищён!!!!!! Браааавоооо!!!
Justin never ceases to amaze me with his creations. Then on top of his builds, he is so good at playing them. Insane stuff
7:48 That Cadillac 8-string is a beaut, & Justin knew exactly what to do with it!
I respect anyone who's keeping the Blues alive in this time and age. And especially you.
Justin Johnson could play a paper towel holder and make it sound sexy. He's truly a master of his craft. Love that it shares it so freely.
Lord you arent kidding he brings life spirit into every instrument he touches
I mean, he's played a diddley now before. That's pretty much a wooden dowel with a string nailed to it.
That was weird and insane. Loved it! What a trip!! I didn't see any comments about the snake rattle. That was just.... can't put words to it. Very cool.
Basically, if it exists, it can be turned into a guitar.
Gotcha.
Even with 1.1 million subscribers and 194 million views, this dude is severely underrated.
Further proof that if someone puts a string on it Justin can play it like a gangsta. I'll even go so far as to say he can somehow play a guitar with no strings. Mind-blowing talent.

"Gimme Back My Bullets" on the ammo can guitar is my favorite, but they're all amazing in a master's hands! Great compilation!
Best music video on youtube. Period!
I used to really like dirty blues. Then I saw this Justin Johnson video and realized that I’d never even heard dirty blues! This is dirty blues taken to some other dimension. It’s some of the most amazing music ever made.
I just kept kept going, "That's the coolest one yet!... No wait! That's the coolest one yet!... WHOA! THAT'S the coolest one yet!... DANG IT, JUSTIN!" ... BTW, Nice assist by Wild Bill Hickok on the hubcap, sir! ;-)
It never ceases to amaze me the things Justin can play. I got hooked on listening to him a few years ago when I saw a video of him playing a 3 string flat shovel and he was tearing it up big time! I've been a fan ever since. This guy's got some real talent no doubt.
Me too! He shud put HIM & SHOVEL ON TIC TOK!
Man the sound from the ironing board got my emotions.
I never seen anyone play with 3 hands. JJ is a monster
give me back my bullets on the ammo can .. perfect! just perfect!!
That rattlesnake rattle. Wow.
"While my guitar gently weeps"! - gorgeous!
Fantastic! One of JJ's best videos. NONE of these "guitars" ever sounded better, than in this video. JJ adds so much "earthy", "smoky", "aching" tone to these guitar riffs that I could swear he was making sounds for a retro Quentin Tarantino movie.
Ok...Gimme back my bullets on an ammo can is pure genius. SO is every other moment in this video. Justin is truly the master. He could play his shoestrings if he wasn't wearing cowboy boots!
My fingers were crossed hoping that the Baromitar made the cut :)
Great video, awesome collection.
My dream for when I’m older is to be able to play as good as you do. I’m a big fan
Never clicked so fast for a CZcams video ever
Έλα ρε πατριώτη!
Awesome cool as always is when i see something anew to me here. :-)
You dont know the thrill of a new etho video
OK, shovel and cigar box stuff is awesome, but the snake tail rattle on the 9 string blew me away. Also the clip at Cadillac Ranch. So cool!
Smokin' 🔥😤🌬️💨
Whomever clicked the thumbs down clearly has lost their mind!!!!
Love all these guitars!!!!!
🤟🤘😎🥃🍻
The cool cat playing them ain't half bad either 😉🤣🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
You're the man Justin 🤘😎🍻🍻🍻🥃🥃🥃❤
Had to be jealous musicians or forlorn lovers. Or both.
Surely they couldn't find their reading glasses and clicked the thumbs down by mistake
they was crying so much at the beauty of these guitars they couldnt see what to press xD
Justin's ability (aided by thousands of hours of hard work, I'm sure) is on full display. To play his own accompaniment is a skill most guitarists don't have. Good job, Justin!
Justin Johnson i am a big fan of yours from south Africa 🇿🇦
I can listen to this blues all day …this is how I would like to play the guitar in my dreams . No matter what guitar he play , it just sound so awesome … the tone is in the fingers of the player , Justin you are an amazing talented guitar player , Great video ! 👏👏👏
2.50 - EPIC!!! Feeling transported.
My favorite design ,
The shovel.
Favorite performance the ironing board!
Great compilation 👍
Your music, the guitars and settings are like a five-star restaurant for the senses...simply brilliant
This is too many layers of badass to keep up with
Dig the "Faux holes" on the skateboard. The vine on the fretboard of the throaty washtub. The weepin' oil can. Da Octapus playin' das beer und hubcap! And Shiver me Timbers! Always plenty of good hooch flowin'! A great start to the evening.. Cheers...
Wow Justin you've got quite the collection and you play every one of them perfectly ❤️JJ❤️
😁That skateboard cracked me up! I was not expecting that 👍
Your 9 string guitar is the reason I fell in love with my twelve string again, or now 9 string.
I always had the problem of "too much octave string not enough normal string" when picking the lower strings with my thumb.
So I only used it for strumming.
When only strung with 9 strings the problem is gone, and I can enjoy it way more.
My God the tone of that caddy tailfin guitar is incredible
No matter with what material are those instruments made off..
They sound awesome in good hands.
That wood burned 6 six string cigar box.. love it
I often wondered if he can play a skateboard. Now i know.
All excellent .!.
I want one of those ammo can guitars. Very cool sounds
You broke the Newcaster 😎
That's so Cool 🥰
Recognize most of these instruments. Should play some of these more often. I bet they miss you. God bless
Justin, what an amazing collection of unusual and great sounding guitars.... and you manage to play them all so well !!! Thanks for sharing!!
This guy isn’t a musician, he’s a magician!👌🏴
You know we love your style... and You
Your talent, and gift and hard work are simply amazing and incredible. A joy to watch you play those guitars. Thank you
Cool skateboard 🛹trick 😎👌thanks Johnson
Justin you have gift to aspiring people to be better thanks
everything you play simply blows me away
Woah! That's one crazy intro! I thought a tuck or a V8 was passing through. Oh wait, it's just a Rocking Skateboard! Dayum! you guys just never run out of ideas! haha Love it! 🤘😈🤘
Haha V8 skateboard lol
He is so damn talented .. I love his. Music wow
U r so talented. Keep doing what GOD put u here to do. Its amazing just to watch u create!
that ironing board solo was beautiful
I have to say living in the U.k Iv never thought much of blues, but since discovering you Im starting to feel a little love affair with the blues' developing! Thanks Justin. Keep doing what you do & I will keep on listening.
So much talent and absolutely stunning skills all inside of one human is just mind blowing. How you can just make whatever strings you touch just screams out to the very inner soul of people is just ummm hell I can’t even find the words to explain what I’m trying to say.. thank you very kindly Justin for giving us such and amazing ride into the sky so we can fly away from the modern worlds stress and troubles. Stay safe and healthy Dr Johnson 😘👍✌️
I have to agree with another "Skateboard guitar" is very, very cool! My favorite though is the Whiskey Barrel, that's why I have one of Justin's Signature Whiskey Barrel from Big "D" Guitars.
You know you're good when a commercial comes on and the listeners ears and brain have to snap out of it
Good music The Amazing Justin Johnson
Assolutamente Fantastico!!! Bravo!!!
It's snowing like crazy in upstate NY today, but watching this, it's summertime!
Now that was a wild Ride. Thanks. As many have said, you can make anything with a string sound Great. The Artist makes the Instrument.
14:43 Stainless steel fretboard .... That is awesome too!
Hypnotic and dark yet so cool.
Lol, I clicked super speedy too! This was a trip. Justin, you should start a challenge, builders send the strangest crap they can come up with and you play it and we all vote as to the best one of the bunch.
Just inspired me to pick up my guitar again. Went down a rabbit hole watching you play starting with swamp blues, spent the last 3 hours. Thank you for what you do.
Incredibly, I've only just stumbled upon Justin. What a genius! I have a disability and guitar playing is therapy for me. I'm not good but gee this guy inspires me to get better!
Totally awesome! Couldn’t take my eyes off this video. You are so talented, unique and entertaining. Simply amazing. Your jewelry is fab as well in all of your videos. A new fan, for sure!👍👍🎸
My favorite part is the 1840s barometer lap steel guitar.
Sounds amazing under the hands of a true master of his art.
Thank you for uploading!
You are amazing 😎
He is so amazing he could play a cereal box if he could put strings on it ♥️
I bet Justin could play a cereal _spoon_ if he put some strings on it
He can if it had a *pickup* on it probably. Honestly i don't know why people are so crazy about the wood in electric guitars, at least 90% of sound come from those pickups.
@@kenz2756 I thought of that myself 😎
Don't give him any more ideas. He will do it!
Give him a hubcap and some fishing line!!!!😁😁😁
I love whatever Justin plays
Keep these videos coming...you're amazing
whiskey will always be number one in my heart. haha. love ya
Great! Thanks justin!
Talent is an amazing thing. Many of the big names don't hold a candle to this dude. It's all about marketing
Wonderful amazing work man....
I have learned so much from you Justin!
Thank you for the music!❤🇺🇲✝️🏴☠️
Speechless
I cannot stop my head from moving with the beats.😍😍😍. It is mesmerizing.
Totally awesome!👍👍🎸
Justin is amazing. He seems to be able to play any kind of stringed instrument. Another thing I have learned from this video is that having a magnetic pickup frees one from the constraints of acoustics and acoustic instruments. You can almost strap it to a bent broomstick with one or more tunable strings attached and get a pretty good guitar. Then all you need is talent.
Yep, I agree. Most people, however, are builders or the player. Rarely do you see both modes of thinking in one person.
Wow. The Parting Glass played on an ironing board in front of an open fire with a glass of something to drink. Just incredible. The attention to detail in the music and settings makes every moment perfection.
That's one rockin way to live life. Keep it up buddy!
Excellent, I really enjoyed that
Outstanding! 🪕🎼
well played man, you brought out the inner beast in each strung instrument
