Brittney is a queen of metal. Fate of Man is one of my favorites from Revel in Time. Awesome voice & great song.
Not sure what it is with musicians today. Back when I was younger I have met a ton of musicians that were considered "great" and they were great in my opinion, but they were so caught up in themselves and meeting fans was beneath them. That is why I was so afraid of meeting my idol Geddy Lee. But Geddy, Floor, Brittney and many of these truly "God Like" status musicians are so humble and they are just "one of us". Great to see. Saw Unleash a little time ago Dec.2021 in Milwaukee and that girl is a BEAST with a nic!!!!!!! Hope to make the show in Sept, but may be traveling for work.
That has nothing to do with a difference between then and now. The great from then were as gracious and humble like the best of today. In fact, I think that is what makes them great.
Arjen pulled that same joke on Tommy Karevik in the Ayreon Universe show by having him sing on Into the Black Hole, a song performed by Bruce Dickinson on the album. No pressure
I don't think I've seen her interviewed before, and she seems cool AF! I've long been a fan of her as a vocalist, though. In fact, aside from Irene, she would have been my top choice to replace Floor, so good on Arjen!
You find plenty interviews with her. Pedro from A&P-REACTS has interviewed her multiple times, even up til 5 years ago. Chase Carneson 3years ago, Tank The Tech a week before this. I think she is one of the most approachable metal singer,s. She being a gamer and a nerd helps.
I was there and she smashed it out of the park, frickin’ amazing.
Brittney is such a lovely person. So humble. Coincidence maybe, but received the Ayreon DVD yesterday and can't get enough of her in this show. Arjen again was totally right about her abilities. She filled up those shoes and did it her way, absoluty great.

I was there when it happened :-) So glad to finally saw her live.
She slayed it, and she obviously enjoyed slaying it! I was lucky to get hands on one ticket and I received my blue ray this week, and I enjoyed it so much!

Brittney Slayes is a huge talent!.
She did great! The show I went to wasn't perfect (what not means she was bad at all!) but the other shows I saw and hear her perform, she nailed it. I cannot imagine anybody else doing it better! 🎩 off
Brittney's performance of Age of shadows is better than Floor's, and I'm a huge fan of Floor.
