Bar end bungees - “rare that you’d need to replace these’. Well both of our 3 years old bars have a broken one and Cabrinha spares not available anywhere (maybe because they break more often than originally thought). But - just buy some 3 mm black bungee cord and this video is really good at explaining how to fix them - thanks.

Thanks for the video! How do you replace the thicker double line inside the PU tube? It gets stuck inside the cleat, specially its inner branch.
I wish cabrinha bars didn’t have that tubing. Makes repairs very difficult
A living hell doing a tear down. Throw it away and buy a new one. If you can. The worst part is the power bracket seat - they just won’t slide off and on old lines like in this video. I had to carefully cut the old one off, and drill the hole in the new one slightly larger with a 1/8 drill bit.
I need to replace the entire chicken loop.
Can i put a 2020 Quickloop QR system on a 2018 bar?
This bar handles perfectly with the bar sliding over the casing (PU tube). I do have to say though: I have had the rope inside the PU break.
Having a part of the bar (the rope inside the PU tube) that is most likely to break while its encased and cannot be inspected is a huge liability...
