- Erm . . . . no not really. My time is taken up with making art and crafts, walking for exercise, walking a friends dog, litter picking, looking after cats, shopping, days out and holidays, working in the garden, two morning coffee clubs, working on the computer, research, blogging and yoootooob. Phew, I like to be busy.

Quite right Ilona..... better things to do. I judiciously watch you tube when I have the time... similar to yourself, in between gardening, sewing, house stuff, time with friends etc..Sunny days =outside jobs, cold rainy days=inside jobs..... I avoid any vids over 20 minutes or so... Yours are a delight, short and interesting.... 😀
I prefer to watch shorter vids. Those who I follow regularly I skip through the samey bits.
It's a breath of fresh air when we hear from you llona I can never understand people who say they're bored or there's nothing to do there's always something to do, enjoy your stall and everything you do 😊

It wasn't very peaceful, ha ha. I put everything away, ate a meal, then went out for a village walk. Had to cut it short because I ran out of time, due to me always stopping to talk to someone.
I’m housebound,so CZcams is my only way to be informed about the going’s on in the outside world,much enjoy your lovely informative videos 🎉

Yes, my friend in the corner is Gloria. I made her. She is supposed to be a scarecrow. I had planned on sitting her in the garden and leaving her there. That seemed a bit cruel. Then I thought I would put her on top of a bonfire for November the 5th. Couldn't do that, so here she stays.
Always a delight when your post pops up on my list! I agree so much to do. We had a heat wave last week, ending with a deluge, winds and hail. Some damages in the garden to try and fix up. Some viewers don’t even realise youtube is their bread and butter, it’s their livelihood as a business and that’s why they do as many videos as they can and of course they’ve monetised their channel with many adverts, which really get on my nerves, because the more videos people watch the more money they make!
I love your channel because you do it for fun and not money making 😊
I realise younger people need to do a job to make a living, but it does put pressure on them to churn out more. I gave up working when I retired at 60. Even though I had no savings at the time, I still had enough with my pension. If any adverts appear on my videos it's because yooootoooob insist on putting them there.
You always put a smile on my face, when I see your videos come up. That is why I like watching your videos, because you don’t have to do them. You are free to do them when you want. Just because we are one person doesn’t mean we are not busy. Just taking care of ourselves is a lot plus other responsibilities we have. Thank you for popping in. Have a good, fun summer. ❤️

Great to see you ilona! Love the hair, tried it myself but the blonde turned out light brown on my hair but it's grand takes more than that to faze me. Recovering from a stroke now I'm doing therapy every day and as busy as ever. I love your videos just whenever you putemup. I am trying to keep my videos to short bite size chunks. And I don't need to document every aspect of my life.
I rarely do a video, and I have a simple life. On the right I keep looking at that staring doll on this video. 😂 I understand completely about videos, it's been 98F and I didn't walk anywhere. 80s now so still hot. Pet bedding is a cute craft. Have a fabulous sale.
The sale went very well. Money donated to the local cat rescue.

That's what so refreshing about your channel: no adverts, no endless chatter about rubbish and no hair flicking! As a passionate kntter, I watch a lot of yarn related videos ( knitting at the same time ) and often turn them off with exasperation for those very reasons.
I am in my 80s and everyday is full. At this time of year, the garden needs constant attention , there are different craft projects, reading and, because I have no car, basic walking to the shops for vegetables etc.
The 2 things that make me either amused or cross are when people say " that will give you something to do " , or " Oh well, it gets you out of the house ! ". My days are so busy that the TV has been relegated to a bedroom where I do my sewing and ironing and is used to listen to Radio4 extra.
Just a random question Iona, as a vegetarian, where do you source your iron ?
Keep up the good work . I may 'pinch ' your pet bed idea for my daughter's dog.I think you use duvets or pillows for filling ?
I don't think about iron when shopping for food. I just buy what I like to eat. Plenty of vegetables, some dairy, bread, nuts and seeds, eggs. I cut duvets up into smaller squares. They differ in size because I use the whole of the duvet, no waste. I have donated fabric and make the covers. I don't do zips, the whole thing can be put in the washing machine.
