Though the video is informative, she was very wrong about Indians from any part of India eating naked carbs! I'm shocked she said that! Specially Indian food is very nutrition rich, as we include idlis, dosas, wadas, etc (carbs) with peanut or roasted putana chutney (protein sources), parantha, poori, chapati (carbs again) with chhole, rajma, paneer, besan, sattu, moong, kadi (protein sources). Curd is a little amount of protein too! Please don't mislead people to have red meat for breakfast with gut friendly fermented food like idli, dosa!
What about the portion? How much palli one eats with a plate of idly ? Do you get enough nutrients from that 2-3 spoons of chutney ? Idly is something very new to our indian , ragi malt , fermented rice and some whole grains were staple breakfast for Indians since ages not idly /dosa
