I didn’t have a problem with Dark Raiden having a short screen time before he turns into dust by Kronika. He’s just protecting Earthrealm, even decided to intimidate those who threatens. I thought his intentions were good, just brutal, and I didn’t think Dark Raiden is necessarily evil. I mean seriously, what’s the point of having Dark Raiden as a main antagonist? Glad that MK1’s Invasions exists, which grants the opportunity to portray Dark Raiden as an antagonist that we players must take down. Him wanting to protect Earthrealm(s), yet, doing so in an extreme way that would destroy everything sounds like he’s delusional, and I like that about him.

I think there is a point about Dark Raiden, that was misunderstood. In MK11 it looks like Dark Raiden cares about the Earthrealm and acts aggresively to protect it, intimidate or destroy its enemies. It looks like he does the right thing, but the truth is, he is probably so badly infected by Shinok's magic, that his real goal - is to gain power over the realms. He uses earth protection as an excuse to invade other realms, subdue them and get more power. As a prove, we can hear his dialogue with Liu Kang in MK11. Dark Raiden says "- I don't need trust, I demand obidience". As we know, he was about to kill Liu Kang during the fight, if visions didn't come to him. So, I guess that Dark Raiden pretends to have good intentions, we can even agree with his methods, but in reality, he is poisoned by Dark Magic and his main goal - to gain as much power as possible. With time, he could have turned into another Shao Kahn or Shinok.
He's like Regime Superman. Shinnok's amulet corrupts his mindset. He actually wants to protect Earthrealm but just like Regime Superman he thinks destroying enemies and raiding other realms is the solution.

This is how I beat it, RAIDEN is weak to acid, I used Reptile, 118 damage, 75 Defence, 32 Health. Keep uppercutting Raiden it only takes like 5 uppercuts per round. I used the amulet of souls consumable, it lets u block perfectly every time, I used this to block everything he did, and just uppercutted him.

@@SamuelRamogo_ if it helps, you can get it through the opening stage of rampart within the very opening of the mesa. You will need to find a level with the get some klue. Just perform 3 throws with the Jax Kameo, and you should be able to get it
1:36 I hate how it doesn’t say round 2 or anything and he just gets right back up, totally ruins one of the main mechanics of the game. All they had to do was show 3 circles above you to imply phases if he was just gonna heal and stand up again and also just play the voice lines of the announcer saying it’s round 2 or 3. Even if there’s new attacks, at least confirm it instead of hide it like that.
