Oooo Mave skirt in the blue background with little strawberries & polka dots 🥰
Your fabrics are so juicy!!! I think the fig print would be stunning, and make a little crop top for a matching set! Isaac has great taste in fabrics too!
That skirt pattern could be done in your lemon printed fabrics: perhaps using both the black background and then the white background lemon print and perhaps the smaller lemon print for the top layer. All your fabrics are gorgeous! Happy sewing Rachel.🍋🍓🥰

The lemons fabric is giving me 50s vibes. The black would make a lovely wiggle / pencil skirt and the white a fitted dress with a nipped in waist and a lovely flowy circle skirt, both of which would look amazing on you 😊 the tierd skirt would look really good with that self drafted top you recently made. I think you might make the skirt in the blue strawberry fabric or a colour block combination of the strawberry fabrics 😊
I’m jealous of all your lemon fabrics. For some reason I am very drawn to lemon fabric 😅
The little strawberry dobby print would be pretty with the peony patterns peony or willow.
Fig fabric would make a lovely co-ord set - maybe a Saguaro or Esti?

What about a sundress in the lemon fabrics with the white background, and a tote bag with the lemon fabric with the black background 🍋

If I were to make a guess for which fabric you have chosen, I guess I would go for the blue w/ strawberries or the pink with cherries..? The only reason is that I'm guessing a white Mave would be hard to maintain and that you would want a smaller print seeing as there are many tiers to the skirt..?
I’ve got the Bright Side of Life fabric in black cotton marlie lawn - bought it with 40 or 50% off so it was a bargain. Not sure what to make with it though. I think I got 4m…the pink strawberry Legend Textiles fabric is lovely. I bought tons of it and I’ve made a Pattern Emporium Seachange playsuit and a Mabel dress out of it so far. It feels lovely, can fray a bit and pins struggle to stay in it, but that usually means the fabric will feel beautiful when you wear it (which it does).
Hi Rachel. Wow -- you have the makings of a lemon capsule wardrobe! Maybe pick the lemon fabric that most sings to you to make up in the Mave skirt? It would be a hard choice since there are so many beautiful prints. What popped into my head when you held up the first lemon fabric (with almost mustard-color lemons and sage-green leaves) was a light summer jacket in this double gauze would be wonderful -- maybe a kimono style jacket. You made a blouse some time ago that has sort of a bat wing sleeves.. Don't know the pattern name! But I think the small strawberries on the blue background will look gorgeous in that. ❤️🇿🇦🧵It may be the last blouse pattern
The Fibre Mood Gabby dress would look lovely in any of your fruity fabrics especially the double gauze with lemons.
I'm thinking you might use the fig fabric for the skirt, though as it's precious and you've not make the pattern before you may use a less favourite one for your first one. I've made a top with the white watermelons one, love the colour palette

I love the idea of the lemons with the lemons for that skirt. I think lemon and jasmine would be heavenly together, though I think those flowers might be lemon blossoms. Either way, it's such a pretty print, and I like the touch the little flowers add to it. Lemons are just pure summer joy. 🙂
You sure do have a bunch of fruit patterned fabrics!!! I never think of buying.
Love seeing your bright & beautiful summer fabrics. You are good Mom Rachel. Your son is going to rock his summer shirt. My guess is the Lady McElroy print you bought 3 years ago with the flowers blooming around the door print.

I made vogue 1390 ,burda 6048,mcalls 7948 different veiws of some (I sew big 4 only)
I had 6 fabrics. I spent a day cutting out dresses and now have 6 gorgeous summer dresses they were quick simple and showed off the fabric
I see lots of summer dresses, a beautiful summer wardrobe

That figs fabric really suits your coloring, Rachel. For myself, I like the idea of making a traditional yet blousy button-down shirt with it. I lean more into mixing masculine patterns with feminine fabrics though. Love the watermelon fabrics too!

Beautiful fabrics. The lemon trees would be a beautiful maxi skirt with a top of the lighter color which looks blue or blue-gray on screen.
For the first strawberry fabric I think overalls with a matching jacket would be cute for Layla. That gorgeous fabric with the gold threads would make an amazing swishy wrap skirt. If there was any watermelon print leftover from your son's shirt you could make a little shirt for Layla. I don't know how you will ever be able to choose which fabrics and which patterns to use. I think the strawberry fabrics are my favourites. Thanks for sharing your beautiful fabrics.
Oh the really big strawberry print I was thinking might make a really cute pajama set for Layla‘s mom, and then the tiny print with the little dobbies in it before that would make a cute little Layla pajama set and then they could look alike when they go to bed; anyway that was my thought when I saw those two fabrics, I thought those would be cute!!

I don’t know what fabric you will choose- but I would love to see that skirt in one of the bright yellow lemon prints with the white or cream background- I can’t remember if it was viscose and linen or just plain linen but either one of those I think would be really pretty!! 😍

Oooooh lemons! The white viscose linen with lemons as a shirt or shirt-dress so you could wear it as a duster too. The lady Macalroy lemons in white or black as cullottes or capri trousers . These would look so fresh with a white T-shirt. Welcome to summer! xx P.s> The skirt would look great in either the Lady Macalroy multi-colour lemons fabric or the black fabric with the pineapple. I'm sure whatever you make will be FAB! xx
I liked the first lemon fabric it was so different my from most of the other lemon fabrics out there I also liked the fig fabric and the blue small strawberry one you have your wok cut out choosing one can’t wait to see your reveal
So MANY beautiful fruity fabrics but it is lemons all the way for me. Always drawn to them. As for guessing? No idea 😂😂😂. Whatever it is, it will be lovely- probably a smaller print for the skirt so the pattern is not broken up too much. Happy sewing😊. Lynne
Gorgeous fabrics. I guess a fabric with colours in ,to easily pair a top. Maybe one of the large fruit designs or maybe the black background viscose with pineapples and bananas on. Lots of your fabrics would make good skirts as that way they can be broken up a bit. Love the double gauze ones. 😊

The black color way of lemons would make a great jumpsuit. The white colorway would make a great dress. The fig material I can't think of anything. THe blue background lemons I would love a coordinating set of shorts and top if it's not too heavy of a fabric. The pink backgroud strawberry fabric would be so cute for Layla (hope I spelled her name correctly). Lemon tree is darling fabric, definitely a dress. Love all the fabrics you've shown. Love the double guazes. Maybe make the figs in your skirt pattern....not sure if you have enough fabric or not.

Hey love your fruity vlog for the challenge.
For the Mave skirt I think you may be making a lemon printed fabric that has a door on it, i thought it be nice to make a mave skirt , the pink background with the strawberries on, also. But you got some lovely fabrics that I wish that i have in my fabric stash will be great for the mave skirt, I just purchase the pattern and I can’t wait to make for the summer
