Whenever a horse loops a field off of moderate fractions early on, ya gotta respect that horse. They'll look at the LA Derby race differently as time goes on...
I agree.. unless of course the field as a whole has distance limitations in the first place..
All true but I don't see a 2:02 and change mile and a quarter winning the KY Derby. (Another 6 seconds on the final time of the LA Derby)
Yes, also I noticed that he looked awkward pulling up after the race.
Yes I agree..I don't think it was that strong of a race..they had one good horse to run down...they did.
@@philturner6642The top tier is running tomorrow and next weekend, and we'll see who stands out then.
Every prep race, a different winner.
Flavien Prat,when it comes to
Kentucky Derby more times in
The money than anyone lately.
Need to see Florida,Santa Anita
and Arkansas derbies to make up
my mind.
With Rich Strike winning couple years ago and Two Phils almost winning last year you can’t throw out the winner of the Jeff Ruby
I was concerned about Catching Freedom after the race. He did a "bunny hop" run out, then when he was stopped he was favoring his left hind leg. I hope he was okay.
It’s a turf horse top and bottom. With that said, I like that Langfuhr mare a lot. The colt looks like the mare a lot. Beautiful stride.
Great vid guys
Mixed feelings on both races..the Louisiana had a moderate pace the front runner who is a very nice horse might be starting to show some distance limitations.. the horses trying to stay with him all tired they were all falling apart in the lane except the winner.. great ride by flavien..the Ruby essentially the same thing...boy that winner just motored that last quarter but still think probably more of a turf runner... time will tell... with each passing weekend more and more confusion...
Tarifa was most impressive today!!!
Catching Freedom and Honor Marie have as good a chance as any to win the derby at this point.
Honor Marie could turn the tables in the Derby. Fierceness runs every other race hot, then cold.
@@user-wd4uf2sm5d True. Randy and Jerry expressed that the La Derby horses were too slow to be contenders in this year's Ky. Derby. I left that comment bc I beg to differ. Good luck to ya. 🤙
Carmen alicia torrealba dondevestes tevanare por Siempre 🌹🔥 R.I.P
Catching Freedom was widest off the turn and closed on soft splits. Only flatters Sierra Leone. Track Phantom had no excuses, should consider Pat Day Mile. Rispoli rejoiced like a jock who knew he was headed to Louisville.
I think Catching Freedom was injured in this race. Will he recover in time for the Derby?
Dont consider the pat day mile motts monster is in there
Goid afternoon beautiful angels thank you Very much 😂😂❤❤❤❤uts beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤
