if you are a new 50, is it ok to just level the free blue armors/weapons that the game gives you then proceed on hunting the best gears?

And yeah, the quest blue item are good enough. Remember to always get a blue to +9 before transfer to purple. And many blue with full traits are better than purple items

L/D is also excellent. More survivability in pvp, way better in 1v1 pvp, more mobile, but less dps

This was your longbow/xbow right? Can you explain me whats behind the decision of changing to staff and letting go of the Xbow?

Yes, I was LBow/XBow before. In a previous version of the game, XBow and LBow were the only weapons able to get range heavy attack / range hit / range crit on traits. Now and for global release, every weapon and gear can get the same heavy/hit/crit traits.
Additionally, staff was quite weak at KR release and it now has juicy passive skills that combines well with LBow

Totally if you want to play more DPS and less healer. Target the miracle chest in priority. Be aware that it's tricky to play compared with full support wand/bow wand/staff wand/sns

I would say Toublek but I didn't get to test it.

In theory, only the passive of the main equipped weapon is activated

Nock deals more damage with range. Sniper senses passive gives critical damage with range
