  • This is a pretty interesting set of ads. From 1986, this set was taken from a late night news broadcast. There are some great local ads in this one. First off, an about basement de-watering systems. Wow. Then, there's the Pazazz hair products ad that wreaks 80's...probably one of the most 80's looking ads I've seen in a while. Don't miss the creepy waterbed ad....it's a special one. This is another really great set that shouldn't be missed. Enjoy! -Dave

Wow, 1986 was apparently a really bad year for furniture. Those couches are just... ick.
Loved the waterbed commercial. I half expected them to say that guy came with the bed!

That they all have American passports, lol but in a way its a positive and negative at the same time as to say, we love welcoming all you newcomers, to become Americans because where you came from totally sucks, and with said passport you get all that freedom, and in most cases cannot be imprisoned abroad, only deported

That Pound Puppies pitch, that just, isn't even fair to parents, whoever designed a plush toy with sad puppy eyes which instinctively draws out your empathic, sympathetic tendencies, suggesting loneliness and real plight, the number one pet animal, cutest as puppies, that guy is sick sick, that's just evil what he put moms and dads through for instant demand for this product

I even liked the political ads. There was no mudslinging. We could use only facts in today's ads.

That guy must have been DESPERATE for some kind of i'm datable attention, so ill appear in the commercial my dads store is making, probably didnt work, that creep smile, so awkward, so cringe, bright rainbow comforter eerily waving like that didn't help either
