    This afternoon Fire & Rescue NSW crews responded to reports of a factory fire on Rickard Road at Chipping Norton. Crews arrived to find a furniture factory well alight, with heavy fire tearing through the building.
    Firefighters encountered extreme fire conditions which rapidly involved the entire structure, as breathing apparatus crews worked to save neighbouring houses & businesses. The situation became extremely dangerous as parts of the building began to collapse and flames rolled out of all sides of the building.
    Despite this, firefighters pressed on their attack, working with large calibre hose lines, ground monitors & aerial appliances to defend exposures on all sides. After several hours of intense firefighting, crews were able to bring the fire under control, successfully protecting all neighbouring homes & buildings.
    Crews remain in attendance continuing to extinguish the fire which contains to burn throughout the factory into the night.

    • @FU-me4gu
      @FU-me4gu Před rokem

      No, it only went to a 5th, other trucks were called due to them having to do a relay to get better pressure, as well as rotating crews

    • @hughman3241
      @hughman3241 Před rokem +2

      Yes and the process of calling other trucks is what raises the alarm level.
