Not being coaster riders anymore we love Disney Springs. So many gifts for our grandchildren have been purchased over the years. Great restaurants, our favourite is The Boathouse. We also use it as a base to catch a bus to explore the various Disney hotels and the water taxi down to Port Orleans & Riverside. I’m old enough to remember The Landing as Pleasure Island. Cookes of Dublin are amazing fish & chips and nicely washed down with a Guinness from the Hole in the Wall next door. This has this been a fantastic series. Thanks for getting them edited and up so quickly.

It's not too cold in the UK atm! Weather forecast says a mini heatwave early October! Today in Sheffield was 19 degrees......though after what you've been used to it will feel cold! Thanks for the great videos makes me want to go on a cruise!!! Take care. Safe journey home. 😊❤

Great Florida vlogs. I have loved watching your trip out here. I definitely want to go but I think we will have to stick with Europe for the next few years (too pricy). Yes you definitely need to watch Cirque du Soleil we did it a few years ago at PortAventura.

The last time I was at Disney Springs was in 2015, and it was so riddled with construction. There were walls and barriers up everywhere and it was congested all around.
Unlucky timing - we were there in May 2017 and there was no construction but it had grown massively since we were there in 2007 and 2009, when it was called Downtown Disney.
That reminds me of epcot when I went in 2019
It was such a mess back then, I remember seeing it during my first visit!

Quick observation from Portaventura...Shammy B now has a 1 min countdown clock in the station, and the ops are considerably better because of it. I think the park watched your last vlog! 👍

I agree with you on the merch front, we were there 2 weeks ago and world of Disney especially was very disappointing! Most money we spent was on the dog in market place co op 🤣

Every year since we started going to WDW we have got a Christmas tree ornament from the Christmas shop at Disney springs - always try to get one that has the year on it - we are lucky to have a few but obviously missing years too. Last year the only one with the year on was a glass ornament for the first time but we did manage to get it home to the uk intact!! Not going this year but hopefully next year 2024! X

Just wish to add that behind the Cirque du Soleil theatre there are the "Lynx" public bus stops, including the pick up drop off that feeds International drive.

I am going to Disney springs on one of my Resort the last time I've been downtown Disney was it 1982 when I went to Rosie O'Grady's I haven't been down here it's a lot of shops in I can't wait to go I want to go eat at The boathouse
The merch is very expensive but it does look nice!

Tell you what Shawn and Charlotte you definitely lucked in with the weather. It's showing constant rain and thunder storms in the Orlando area for the next 10+ days on the BBC website

I was visiting my friend in Orlando when Disney had just begun construction.
There was a little trailer with Disney brochures talking about the park.
The roadway to Disneyland passed giant Orange grove, there was even an Orange Grove viewing tower.
Orlando was a quiet city, but as I returned over the next few years, things got busy and the roadway is now all kinds of major entertainment parks.
That's my point, people go to be entertained not "educated" about what their lifestyles should be.
and that is why I fear for this Wonderful place(see below)

Hope you had a good trip! Do you think it’s worth dedicating a whole half a day to Disney springs (on a 10 day universal/Disney/Busch/seaworld trip), or just to spend a couple hours going through?
Couple of hours or and perhaps a dining experience at one of the eateries....if you can afford it !?

It’s hard not to spend money at World of Disney. I must have spent $300 on clothes and a few stuffed animals I still haven’t worn my Disney shirt because it’s meant for cold weather. Don’t be too sad Charlotte I lost an expensive Christmas Ornament I think they confiscated it at the NYC airport it was for my wedding anniversary. It had a bride and groom Mickey and Minnie on it. I’ll never fly out of JFK again.

About the pins, there are so many fakes out there, they are not high quality. The cast member pin traders often have fakes to trade, because other people give them fakes while taking the authentic ones. The cast members don't have a chance on checking if they're real or not. It's sad. There are youtubers that are pin collectors and have live shows to educate people to notice the difference. Great help if anyone wants to start collecting.
