Also die Kommis hier sind schon echt traurig. Nur weil man Noppe oder Anti spielt heißt es nicht, dass man kein Tischtennis kann oder das sowas verboten gehört. Diese Vielfältigkeit macht unseren Sport doch aus. Und wenn ihr halt alle traurig seid, dass ihr gegen Noppen verliert, dann lernt dagegen zu spielen und heult nicht rum.
Warum sollte man es auch verbieten? Ist ja nicht so das man mit Material jedes Spiel gewinnt wie man ja auch hier sehen kann und auch in der Weltrangliste. Die leute können einfach nur nicht dagegen spielen und dann kommen so Kommentare.
Ich hasse es zwar gegen Materialstocherer am Tisch zu spielen (auch wenn ich sogar eine gute Bilanz dagegen habe), aber man muss dazu sagen, dass man sich natürlich nicht einfach einen Antibelag oder eine Noppe auf den Schläger kleben und so spielen kann. Das erfordert sehr viel Geschick und jahrelange Übung. Es ist eben einfach ein anderer Ansatz. Spaß machen würde mir ein solcher Spielstil persönlich nicht. Auch das Zusehen macht mir leider keinen Spaß, aber es hat natürlich seine Daseinsberechtigung. Man ist allerdings schon sehr limitiert damit. Insofern sollte man sich das wirklich gut überlegen, ob man den Schritt gehen möchte.
Meistens versuchen Materialspieler eine Schwäche zu kaschieren. Ich finde es wird leider viel zu oft so gehandhabt, dass Jugendspielern eine Noppe "verpasst" wird und sie dann zwar erst einmal mehr Erfolg haben, später aber technisch solche Defizite aufweisen, dass sie diese nicht mehr aufholen können. Sehr talentierte Spieler wie Luka kommen damit zwar auch noch sehr weit, aber nie ganz bis zur Spitze.
Ich glaube nicht einmal, dass die Leute, die das kommentieren nicht dagegen spielen können. Es macht ihnen vermutlich nur wirklich keinen Spaß dagegen zu spielen, weil man sich körperlich auch deutlich weniger betätigt und danach das Gefühl hat, man hat eigentlich gar keinen Sport gemacht. So geht es zumindest mir und Patrick sah auch aus, als wäre noch gar nicht richtig warm nach den drei Sätzen.

Luka is a magician! Of course he doesn't have the forehand technique, the footwork and 20 years of privileged first class training like Franz - and still, Luka's spirit and his backhand play are just amazing.
meh, anti-spin is gay...unless you are playing against someone with long pips...cause long pips are gay too, especially if long pips stay close to the table, then you use anti-spin against them. It's like out-cheating a cheater...lololo

@@Skrippykrotangler its amplifying the long pips effect itself, and can even make the ball shaky (the ball wont go on straight direction and can wobble left and right a bit).
Its mainly used by people above the age of 40 here in Indonesia so they can still compete lol. Where are u from btw?
Luca hat sich ordentlich verkauft, ein Sätzchen wäre durchaus drin gewesen, auch wenn Franziska den häßlichsten Ball im Mladenovic Arsenal, den Megaschnittblock, ziemlich gut im Griff hatte. Am besten gefällt mir aber der respektvolle Umgang nach dem Spiel. Toller Handshake. Bravo.
Most of his errors were with anti. Short pushes into the net and long pushes outside. With Anti it is better lo play a mid high ball when blocking. Too low and fast is very risky, specially in the end of every set. Maybe he needs to train those shots and more variety in services. Of course he is very talented and the best anti spin player in the world.
Great match, Mladenovic almost had that last game. If he was able to mix up his antispin between forehand and backhand to an even greater and more proficient degree I have no doubt he would have gotten at least a game or two, unfortunately world class players simply do not give away free points so you have to fight for every single one. Playing pips and antispin is a tough road to walk because you are inherently limited in your approach to scoring from the lack of spin generation.
So many comments by people that are frustrated because they probably got owned by pimple/anti players...C´mon guys, behave like adults! (And learn to play against those rubbers!)

Mit Glatt-Anti _auf _*_dem_*_ Level_ kann aber auch nicht jeder.
Und Franziska wäre wohl nicht in der Bundesliga, wenn man ihn zwingen würde, einen glatten Anti zu spielen.
Ich vermute, die Kommentatoren meinten einige sehr gute Blockbälle mit dem Glanti, die Mladenovic nicht in Punkte ummünzen konnte. Ich finde es spannend, dass es solche unorthodoxen Spielsysteme gibt und es solche Spieler auch bis in die Bundesliga schaffen und auch erfolgreich sind. Das Spiel mit dieser Art von Belägen ist sehr schwer. Das Timing muss perfekt sein, sonst driften die Blocks lang hinten raus oder fallen stumpf ins Netz.
Ich selbst bin vor etwa 9 Monaten auf „moderne Abwehr“ mit langen Noppen umgestiegen nach vielen Jahren Offensiv Tischtennis und es macht einfach Spaß, einen neuen Aspekt dieser Sportart kennenlernen zu können. Also nicht mosern über diese Beläge, sondern verstehen, was sie machen und wie man sich das auch zu Nutze machen kann. Als Angriffsspieler fand ich Materialspieler immer angenehm. Man muss halt wissen, was zu tun ist….dann klappt‘s auch gegen Anti und LN

Auch aus meiner Sicht waren die Blockbälle von Mladenovic sehenswert, nur sollte man nicht annehmen, dass sowas gegen jemanden wie Franziska (der halt ein anderes Kaliber ist) stets genügt, um danach sicher zum Punkt nachspielen zu können. Daher hätte ich auch gesagt, Mladenovic hatte nicht die Möglichkeiten, sich so einfach zu "belohnen".

It does. It brings more variety into the game. But there are reasons why high level player dont play these. You dont have to like them, neither do I.
I think it has everything to do with table tennis. When ppl start playing table tennis rubbers had no friction at all. Nowdays the sport is ruined with spinny rubbers.
I can say the same, very spinny and fast rubber make table tennis not the same as before. I believe originally people use hard-bat like equipment.
its not even about the rubbers. defenders also play with pimples, but classic defense does not look as ugly as this "technique". i think this guy Luca playing on the level like this its like to listen to the classic melody with rap singing. its just disgusting and the only way he is winning players its just because 2-3 sets is not enough to players to get used to this ridiculous game and destroy like here
Yup exactly. Put the weird stuff on the ball with zero footwork or connection to the ground, just hope your opponent doesn't learn quickly enough. Then hope you don't play the same opponent again. Works wonders in amateur tournaments, just don't be like Luka and bet your entire life on it working, because it won't.
And I thought this kind of players relying on their disgusting antispin stuff exists only in our amateur leagues. So horrible.
I can say the other way, more players even those world class are taking advantages of very spinny and fast rubber. Better think this way: they are all playing by the rule, using equipment approved by ITTF

@@lepetitponey People who say this probably Never Played Table Tennis or are frustrated because they cant play against this material. If you are just a bit deeper into the topic, you realise that playing a style like that is not easy At All.
You really have to understand and learn your Material and how to use it in every Situation, because variety is everything in this game. If you bring the same over and over again, its over for you by the blink of an eye.
And those people saying, " He only got into bundesliga because he has anti"...
Cmon, then grab yourself his racket and see you in Bundesliga in 2-3 years...
And btw: Looking back in history of table tennis, before there was any " normal " rubber like the tuned or boosted ones for agressive play we have today, what was there? Right, anti-spin and pimple rubbers. So at least because of this, they have a right to exist.
Why inverted rubbers gets a free pass? Tacky? Hybrid? Tensor? Let's bring back celluloid balls and make everyone play with sriver and mark v. Pimples existed before inverted.
