My name is JRO Lights and I have been collecting Zippos for over 10 years. My collecting themes include: limited editions, Collectibles of the years, and any unique/ special designs.
I am not a film expert or editor, however I have a passion for Zippos and I hope to bring a variety and diverse range of Zippo information.

I have to agree on the 90'th's box. Its big and bulky and takes up too much space on my tiny display case. Gonna have to fix that one day.
The 85'th...I really like that box! Wish they used that design for the 90'th.
I LOVE the 2021! It's one of my favorites in my collection. Just stunning but then again art deco can be an acquired taste.
The Windy Girl is very nice but not top 5...maybe. ;)
Great packaging on the Zippo car. I'd love to see more tins for the collectables.

We got 10 more to go! It’s getting to the point where just because they are ranked in or even outside of the top 10 doesn’t mean they are bad, it just means there are better ones😁

good thing this is a opinion cuss the 90 anniversary says a lot about the company, logo, color, insert, lighter logo and only 6000 in the world make this more valuable than most on your list, you going for looks real collectors see the details and limited supply. 25 years from now is zippo is still around limited zippo is where the money is at. think of the only 3000 supply of the eu version and how only a few will actually collect all 4 in a single display makes it more look after. a set is not complete if you don't have all 4

Of course it’s an opinion, what else would it be haha.
However, I encourage you to go back and rewatch because this list wasn’t about value, that changes over the course of time.
As a real collector does, I took account of the following: Design, Concept and Packaging
If you noticed, the design and concept of the 90th was one of the highest rankings in my list. If the packaging was better executed this Zippo would have easily been in the top 5.
Also mentioned, only the American releases were taken into account. (Since not all COTYs had international counterparts)

As real collectors also know, the smaller the limited number is, doesn’t necessarily mean the greater value. It may help, but ultimately depends on the desirability of that lighter.
