I am the honest vocal coach! I have been teaching for 15 years and been singing since I was 16. I teach from my own studio and also teach and mentor via email, and online via Live & Skype. I specialise in teaching children, and teenagers pop and musical theatre but I am trained in all genres of music. I have studied every voice technique there is, including Speech Level Singing, Estill, Bel Canto, Robert Lunte, London College of Music, ABRSM, Ria Keen, Kim Chandler, Stevie Van Lange and many more. I have been around!
In 2008 I wrote the Vocaltutor Guide, 21 set lessons for singing teachers to get started, learning to teach, and produced 3 vocal exercise CD/Downloads.
I am now working on my first online singing programme. The Foundations of Singing that will be available on Udemy.

Katerine Duska is the best female vocalistin in ESC2019!The video was inspired by the Renaissance and is about girl power,that is why the pearl is so heavily featured as a symbol of femininity.
Hi there! I am for 30 years now vocal coach too. First i heard most of the other countries and i was impressed but not one of them made shake yet. Two weeks ago i heard the Greek song and that shaken me for good! I believed a lot to Netherlands, Cyprus and 2 more... but when i heard this one i said "oh my god, this is eurovision anthem". Despite what others saying that she sounds like with others i disagree completely, i don't remember many voices so close to perfection on low vocals and high pitched... i think Cher is also able to do that.... i see a new Cher in her. Unfortunately i watching Eurovision all these years and it is geo-strategic and political alliances between Scandinavian and Valcanian countries. So i am afraid Katerine Duska will not win but it will be spread this song to all over the world as a 30 years vocals training coach i don't remember many voices like hers, just amazing, i feel thrilled. Very good entry and nice pick by Greece this year. Also checked her official youtube channel singing and she is so amazing... it is not fair that she will not win because all the above i wrote.

This is the best ever ESC contender from Greece overall.
The music, the performance, the direction are very well done.
I am really proud of this participation.
Regardless of the results, this song will be played and loved long after ESC 2019 is completed.
I do not know If she is gonna win but I think she deserves a top five ❤️

Love her voice and the song very Indie with an international sound easily could be played on the radio if it was released by a known singer like ADELE... she sounds like a mixture of Annie Lenox and Adele...greets from the USA... ps the guy who wrote this song David Sneddon along with Katerina and one more person is the guy who won fame Academy in the UK and had a Number 1 hit ??

The Message Which I Will Copy And Paste: The “Better Love” lyrics are powerful, and don’t shy away from the intensity - and dare we say “madness” - that comes with love. Katerine speaks of all-consuming feelings - the “burning feeling inside” - and learning to deal with the heat. Yes, there’s pain, but there also gain. Sometimes you have to burn to be reborn.
The theme works on multiple levels. For some the song will no doubt reflect the sensation of diving into an intense relationship. For others the text may resonate for invoking the adversity of a relationship. At times she’s “holding on for dear life” and she simply can’t hide it. There’s even a case to be made for tensions stirred by those outside the relationship. As she sings: “Let them look, don’t know, don’t care, go deep with me.”
The repetition of “Better Love” and the all-encompassing lyrics suggest an upbeat melody - something fans have made clear that they crave in this year’s contest. Greece does upbeat very well, as proven by the likes of finalists Eleftheria Eleftheriou, Freaky Friday & Risky Kidd and Demy. And, of course, Eurovision winner Helena Paparizou.

I know she is not close to the favourites this year when you see the odds, but I hope from all my heart that they will do some staging who blows our mind, to change this cause this song deserves it!

The music video was directed by Efi Gousi, one of the best on her field here in Greece. It's inspired by the feminism of the Renaissance Era. The same woman is going to be the artistic director of the staging in Tel Aviv and as we know it's going to be around the same style.

a pity she couldn't sing more than two notes in tune when performing live
it would be more fair if you judged her voice one a LIVE performance and not a music video who has been been auto tuned where necessary. I heard she's live a lot worse than in this.
