anyone noticed the fact that you can never see her face when she dances great? you can only see her face at the end of the move which means that she used a double.
Why tho? It’s not like you can’t dance that they need a double to be her. She is a dancer. Why did they do that ?

@@melodybeigi1614because Selena isn’t that talented. She can’t actually dance that well. A lot of her moves were “ballet” and she doesn’t qualify for that job. Her stunt double had to step in for her at all the fancy parts.
i love how drew's dance moves at the beginning of the vid are a mix of hip-hop, pop, tap (0:32-0:34), and michael jackson all in one. LUV IT. =)

The age gap between the actors was very concerning and illegal lol. Selena was 16 at the time while filming while Drew was 25.
That would be why there is no kissing scene between Joey and Mary. They insinuate the attraction and relationship between them but never actually confirm one. It's actually just implied at the end that Mary and Joey are in a relationship - it's never stated that they are - which I'm sure was done on purpose.
