Kai studied ballet for several years beginning as a child. He also has studied jazz and contemporary dancing and in this piece he combines several dance genres. The song ICU is an unreleased song of Kai's that he performed at concerts. He's considered one of the best dancers in KPop; to me he's the best.

It's not a real freestyle dance battle, it's a pre-choreography show that they prepared for fans in their concert.
You should listen to more Kai albums.
@11:57 they're just chanting Kai's real name which is Kim Jongin. usually when they perform solo you'll hear their real name. Kai studied ballet since he was little and really wanted to become a ballet dancer but his dad made a deal with him to buy him a game (not sure if it was nintendo/playstation) if he'll try to audition to be an idol.

should've kept going... it's nicer to watch the set of Call Me Baby, Touch It and Chill in full. same with the opening set of The Eve, Forever, Kokobop, Growl and the dance battle. watching it by song kinda breaks the momentum since it's a live performance. anyway, thanks for the reaction! btw, the dance battle is obviously choreographed prolly to avoid any accident.

Why are you guys watching these stages in single segments instead of whole segment? The whole The Eve, Kokobop, Growl and dance battle is such a sight to watch together, same with Call me Baby, Touch It and Chill.
Our videos kept getting blocked and we had to try different things but we are learning the hard way. Hopefully we can finish the set and get back to a better system. I know it is not ideal. Touch it and Chill is not the end of this set, is that correct? Gonna try and put 5 or 6 sings together for the next reaction. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@KuLaLisa Touch it and Chill were supposed to up there with Call me Baby live stage. The same way as Kokobop and Growl was supposed to be there with the Dance Battle of Xiumin and Baekhyun. The performances are even in Seoul so it shouldn't be a problem as Seoul ones rarely block the videos (did your video suffer from block of original one since you didn't even use the Seoul version but Japan version?).
@@tbakhalid4781 My understanding was that this concert was in Japan but yes the very first video we recorded was blocked, the intro plus The Eve. We recorded more today but it also got blocked. Anyways when we cover their concerts in the future we will do it set by set so everything will flow better. Thanks!
