    Jeff, few questions:
    1) I see this tbox has two ports excluding the power port. Can you connect one to your fbl and one to a servo? What I'd like it do is during the swashplate level step of the Ikon, incorporate this tbox so that you can perfectly level the swashplate without having to use trim adjustments in the ikon. Having to disconnect the servo from the fbl, center it then connect it back doesnt always workout. It seems to move a little once plugged back into the fbl which is why I'm asking if they can both connect to the tbox, then set, then unplug.
    2) Do you know any tricks to get your servo horns at 90 degrees when you are building a non SAB kit that doesn't come with those brackets?

  • @williamgleason7867
    @williamgleason7867 Před rokem +1

    The tbox does not work with all servos. I have a set of 4 servos 18 months old that the tbox will not communicate with and another set 6 months old that it will talk to. I have tried two different tbox units with same issue. Torq could not explain.

    Hi. Thank you very much for the helpful videos. I am about to build my raw580 with exactly same electronics as you have in the build videos. Just a question on frequency. For the cl1208, it says in the box it is using 1520. Will there be no issues if I change it to 760?

    Wow I need this. I have a question which I think this tool will fix my problem.
    Setting up a 570 drake using a spirit rs fbl unit. My 2 torq servos on my swash plate (2 ail servos) need a crap ton of sub trim in the fbl to get 90 degrees.
    My issue is I can not get equal collective pitch no matter how I set up the mechanical. U can see the servos have more travel one way then the other, 13.2 pos and 12.4 neg . Could this be a result of the amount of sub trim used to get 90*?? And if so this tool should fix that

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  Před rokem +1

      So yes, a ton of sub trim is going to create a an equal travel. Think about it like this, you have 90° rotation. If you start at 90° you will have an equal up and down. But if you start at 70° you are going to have farther travel one way than the other. Now it is perfectly normal to not get equal positive and negative pitch and have to add travel in the radio menu. But you should always start with a perfectly centered servo without a bunch of sub trim in the FBL. The T box makes that very easy to do!
