I am a semi beginner I have been modeling aircraft for 2 years now and this book is an eye opener for me, it's brilliant. Lots of great tips made real easy. Honestly I was constantly saying to myself "oh yeah that's a good idea, why did I never think of that". This is well worth the buy if your serious in doing this hobby.

I bought it as soon it got out and just read it time and time again... Daniel Zamarbide for me on my opinion is a Master... the OlPortuguese shooting star on that book i had it in my hands because Daniel gave it to mr emanuel the owner of "bigcat" modeling shop (the shop i made a video) they r friends and man... it is pure art...
About twice the price I would be willing to pay for another modeling book. However, given the poor translation noted by others, it wouldn't even be worth that to me so I will pass. Besides, I'd rather spend my money on adding to my stash, buying tools and gathering accessories & supplies.
another addition to the ol' wish list. unfortunately i need 65 dollars worth of other model stuff. Love books too. i might have 300 or so. I'm an information maniac. i have many cool, old, classic, first edition, unique, very unique, strange, religious, signed, and not least of all...one that i even found 32 buckaroo's in between the pages,.....I was cking out this book because this man was a better Christian than a President, and who is this peanut farmer...ya'll guessed it...President Jimmy Carter. very intelligent man... lousy...you know.,after i found the money inside the pages of his book, i immediately put it back, purchased the book for a buck (at a 2nd hand store) and added it to my collection.
Paul I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't mention how poor the english translation is. I've just received my copy and the translation is piss poor. It's like they used a computer translator instead of a real person. When my book cost me $119.95 Au I expect it to be perfect. The poor translation really spoils the book. Quite a lot of the book ends up lost in translation. It really pisses me off that they couldn't be arsed hiring a proper translator.
Honestly it's not so death defyingly bad, it's actually very understandable. I just skipped through it. The way you wrote "it's piss poor" made me have a small ptsd attack because I ordered it and where I live this thing costs the equivalent of 78 dollars.
