It’s scary how much this band has improved and they are only going to get better.
They also look a little larger. Arrangements also made a difference.

What an awesome show VSU "Trojan Explosion" marching band! The bands sound, the precision drill, the percussionist, the DM, the dancers, the Twirler, and that oh so INCREDIBLE flag team were all amazing. I enjoyed every minute of that show. Well done VSU Director of Bands and Staff. SU Human JukeBox alum here in full support of all of our HBCU band programs.

As a former member of the VSC (nka. VSU) Marching Band (Marching 110, Drumline, 1957-1962), I am sooooo proud of and congratulate VSU’s “Trojan Explosion.” They continue the grand and proud legacy of VSU’s band and music tradition. Hail State!!💙🧡
