    It wasn’t funny and he shouldn’t have done it, but it wasn’t about her being ugly, but rather about her commends abut men. If you listen to her, you feel, she does not respect men, and she belittles them. But of course he should not have said that. Maybe solving this with him personally would be the better way, i donot see that as a typical case of men shaming women. He does not like her, she does not like him , everybody gets that by now. If not everybody wants to get „closer“… who cares. Being she is in public and he is also, the comments were unfortunately made in public

      All modern politicians are followers of WEF ideology but, if you read Orwell, you’d know that thought control follows many left wing principles (but also extremist right wing principles too).
      This is why you have so many extremely ugly on the inside, or very mediocre looking externally, butch and uncharismatic women in the UK, such as Ava Evans, who mistakenly believe that all men hornily want to rape her, when for 99 percent of men she is a repulsive type.
      It might seem a little banal, purile even, to keep drudging up this topic next to other important topics, yet it is something (this tedious, modern, woke battle of the sexes nonsense) for which Politics Joe takes a very ‘WEF’ divide-and-rule stance so it must be dealt with.
      My point, from the first paragraph of the above commentary, is not that politicians or social commentators should look a certain way, or anything like that, incidentally, if that is what you have garnered. As the ancient societies said, the external might point to certain internal factors but it may also be a result of genetic luck.
      However, we can generally agree that ancient philosophical ideals, such as the Greek philosophical ideal of the externally and internally charismatic and capable being vs a blue haired, obese, smelly, charmless, unable to engage, listen or impress in any way woke toilet seat of a human, are worlds apart.
      Since it has been in the news lately, to nonetheless broach the topic, I will make the observation that whenever you come back to the UK from another country, you realise how nearly everyone here, but especially the women, look like charmless tramps, who really are completely unshaggable, as Lawrence Fox got in trouble for saying, not that I’d likely believe every single thing which he believes, and definitely they haven’t been shagged, at least not properly, in months or even years. Nonetheless, this strange modern chimera of a woman is convinced that everyone wants to hornily shag them. I am speaking rather plainly and even in a slightly bawdy way right now, but that is not necessarily a bad thing next to modern political pretence and fibs.
      Orwell called this human mind control scenario, where human desirability becomes an area in which a government tries to manipulate perceptions of the masses, the ‘anti sex league’ (for Orwell knew that sex, whilst a nuanced topic, is a sign of freedom and even human power in a generally functional society) where robotic females especially (for Orwell knew that women are more emotional and illogical and hive minded so follow ‘party slogans’ more than men) walk around with blank, charmless, sexless faces with red sashes of sexlessness around their waists and hips believing this makes them above all others.
      This thread is not about women and sex, however, since Politics Joe has been in the news lately for this very topic, I will conclude that Orwell was as insightful as ever that women are key footsoldiers of the New World Order owing to their hive minded, easily programmed psychological make up (yes, women have many relative strengths too, but that’s a separate topic) and the truth; that genuinely capable women stand by men and engage with them in a non robotic way, for far fewer men are deviants than WEF tells you and you must study those types in a certain capable way, will not be revealed to you by the mainstream media.

    • @Winter-CIG
      @Winter-CIG Před 7 měsíci

      Did you actually listen to her rebuttal? Women have an equally high attempted suicide rate, they are just less successful in actually ending their life. That's not being dismissive at all - it's a valid argument. It's not tit-for-tat, it's logical problem solving. And I say that as someone who went into that clip having read comments like this and assumed she WAS dismissive having not watched the clip. There is nothing hypocritical about it when we have a distinct lack of mental health support for ALL people. Having that further broken down into sub-services that are tailored towards men or women independently is maybe a good idea but to dismiss her opinion that we'd be better off with a mental health minister is somewhat ironic given your complaints about her response.

  • @bengrillet
    @bengrillet Před 8 měsíci +5

    I'm reminded of a clip i saw recently of an old Graham Norton show, featuring Russell Brand and Emily Blunt. Brand was being explicitly 'passive'- aggressive, but bordering on outright aggressive. It was conspicuous that he was outclassed by Blunt and his 'charms' were impotent on her, so he resorted to spite. This is what misogynists do when faced with strong, intelligent, beautiful women.
    Personally, they are my favourite😊

      Listening to Ava now for the first time…she seem to lack a sense of humour. Which is a sign of an idiot leftist which this country needs to laugh at out of town imo.
      Just guessing
      For personal context: if there is a minister for women then why not a minister for men? Where is the balance. Both sexes have issues. My brother has mental health issues and recently I had to call out a police search fearing he was going to take his life after he called me to say “goodbye”. The way Ava came across was to immediately poo poo the idea. It looked like a misunderstanding in the studio. But it’s a SENSITIVE TOPIC and Ava was unwise to react like that and appear to not take the issue of male suicide seriously. She made that mistake by instantly disagreeing with the idea. Why did she do it? Was she virtue signalling for mental health of women rather than men. Give men a chance to be the focus of our attention for once. Think before you speak.

    The irony is that Ava proved the first guy right. He was highlighting the statistics about men's health and, whilst she made valid points about children and mental health in general, she quite literally did exactly what he was saying had become a barrier to men seeking help. It seems that as she believes that this narrative is designed to make women the enemy she saw it as a challenge and seemingly dismissed his points by belaboring the division of housework over lock-down. Perhaps there could be a minister for men and a minister for mental health, the first to help men settle in to their newly emerging role and explain why the culture has in the past been toxic and the other to encourage mental health awareness and access across the board. Ava knows she misstep because she later apologised. Laurence undermined his argument with his inflammatory and lazy use of language AND Ava proved why we currently need a minister for men. One does cancel out the other.

    The dude's delusional if he thinks any woman would ever be interested in him. He should be so lucky to have a woman wanting anything from him. And why does it always have to circle back to men wanting to have sex with a woman or not? What is going on in their bizarre minds that they think this is the thing that matters, and that's all women care about it. It's such a weird threat as well: "if you dare to stand up for yourself, men won't wanna have sex with you, so get back in line, you sex object!." It's also so clearly an attempt to make her feel small when in reality he feels threatened and would probably be pathetically trying to get with her. It's like a strange but obvious deflection tactic. It's so bizarre how these men respond to a woman talking about sexism with "sexism doesn't exist" and then go on to say the most sexist thing imaginable.

    Mental health is a major issue and there needs to be serious conversations about how our society structure is a big part of the problem. Whilst I don’t fully agree with Ava, she seems intelligent, rational and open to discussion. Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but through my extensive research on mental health suicide, I was under the impression that proportionally, women attempted suicide less often but were more often successful? 20 years ago I ended up in court after my boss at the time said things to me and about me that were derogatory and of a sexual nature. He admitted it all and couldn't see the problem. Unfortunately neither could the three male judges. They told me if i was younger, I was in my late 20s at the time, they would have made a different judgement. By that age, apparently, I should have been able to handle male talk. I had hoped "male talk" had changed in those two decades, but it really hasn't. There are so many examples of it and so little consequence. My then boss, used me to look good in front of colleagues and customers, my feelings were never taken into account and the judges upheld his thoughts that I was of little consequence. Things have to change.

In fact her point is pretty valid in that mental health is and of itself a far bigger concern than some arbitrary minister for a specific gender (coming from the party who is obsessed with gender, lol.)
      As for male suicides, yeah, that's correct, and the reason is very simple. Just as society lives in this archaic position of thinking women's worth is their attractiveness and ability to produce and raise children, men live in a society where the archaic belief is that their worth is directly linked to their ability to provide for their family and loved ones. Unfortunately, under Neo-Liberal Vulture Corporate Capitalism, two adults working overtime currently can't afford to keep a family, so the idea that any mad by themselves can have a hope in hell of doing so is laughable. Of course, expecting the Conservatives to fix the economy whereby normal working people get a bigger slice of the pie over millionaires and billionaires who already don't know what to do with what they have is never going to happen, so instead we'll just throw out the platitude minister and continue inciting a gender war among the gammons.
