  • A quick test of the shortwave bands today with the new Prunus J-150 retro radio. It works, but this is not a true shortwave radio because the shortwave bands are very limited on this radio. This radio is made for the FM/AM bands, and I can say now, after many tests, that the Prunus J-150 is incredibly good on the FM bands. The Prunus J-150 is a very nice radio to use. It has many nice features. I only tried the shortwave bands with the built-in telescopic antenna, but if you attach a wire to the antenna, you will get better reception on the shortwave bands. Also, if you go out somewhere where there is less interference with the shortwave bands, you will get better reception. The Prunus J-150 is a lovely radio, and on FM, here where I live in the northern part of Sweden, I have great reception. I also love that this radio is very compact, making it a great radio for outdoor activities. About the AM band, I can't say much about the am band is very quiet because Sweden shut down its Am broadcasts in 2010.

All the products I buy with my own money, and I don't get paid by manufacturers to say things about different products. The things I upload on my CZcams channel and the things I also post on my CZcams community page are my own opinions. I just want to make that clear to everyone who watches my videos and looks at my pictures.
