The juries are a joke. Sweden consistently got top marks while the rest of the voting was all over the place.

376 points from the televote for Finland, with only 37 countries. That's a HUGE achievement, I mean HUGE. They should be completely proud, the juries will kiss Sweden's ass no matter what, but what Käärijä has done is just beyond impressive.
* Edit cause I didn't expect so many replies: the international vote can give a maximum of 12 televote points, like one country, so there were actually like 38 countries voting, still less than in most of the years. That makes Finland's public score the third highest ever in numbers (Kalush got 439, Rybak 378, Salvador Sobral 376), and the second highest proportionally. An incredible achievement in fact. And this is the second Swedish victory given by the juries in 8 years.

Regardless of the result can we just appreciate what a show the United Kingdom and the BBC put on. Much shorter notice than most other countries have and look at the incredible hosts, the amazing stage design, the touching interval and introduction acts that celebrated Ukrainian culture and the level of enthusiasm from not just Liverpool (as someone who visited, it was incredible and emotional spectacle) but the wider UK.
It was something the whole country can be proud of which is something we have not been able to say for a long time. Bravo BBC. Now it's time to win it again.

I was there as well, literally the best week of my life. From the national lottery welcome concert on the Sunday to being in the arena for the three rehearsal shows. Went on my own but I met so many people, and the city was so welcoming. Miss it so much ❤

Finland should have won, when Finland got 143 points more, than Sweden, but because of the jury Finland lost, so I think the jury should be thrown out of Eurovision. Loreen now won twice and so its not that exciting winning twice, while Finland song had better background music and vibe on it.

Remember that being second place does not diminish an entry at all. Sweden joins the ranks with Kalush Orchestra, Maneskin, Duncan, etc. and gets to host the next Eurovision. But also, Finland gets cemented in the second-place hall of fame, with acts like Verka, mAnga, Eleni Foureir and Sam Ryder. Both are special in their own way. But SECOND PLACE IS NOT A LOSS! 💚

Knowing Verka still shows up nearly every year makes the loss a little more manageable. But still, Finland was such a clear winner to everyone this year... if it weren't for the jury.

For me, Käärijä is like Verka Serduchka. It also took second place and I think people will listen to it for many years and say that it is one of the best numbers in the history of Eurovision. My congrats, Finland from Ukraine🇺🇦, you will always be my winner💙💛🇫🇮💚💚

Could not agree more, everything hit just the right note, from the adapted version of Stefania to the musical odes to Liverpool. Sam Ryder's performance was utterly incredible, just wish it could have been 5 mins earlier as the UK's entry.
Shows were done not only by BBC, they even talked about it in the final, there was a 50 to 50 ratio. Music for the show, post-card music (Pianoboy - Dmitry Shurov), interval acts in the semi-finals and in the final were also done equally (Show producer Dmitry Nanev). Something BBС and something Suspilne UA. The logo and animation were made by 2 design studios, one from Liverpool and the other from Kyiv. The work of cameras for the 6th year in a row at Eurovision, video cranes, cameras that ride on rails and a spider camera that flies under the roof of the arena, these are the technologies and operators of the Kyiv company OperTec.
The show turned out great and it was made by 2 countries, not one BBC
this year was my first eurovision, they picked the best city in Europe.
Everyone in Liverpool were so friendly and welcoming. The arena was perfect as well. I'll remember this for the rest of my life ❤

a month later, and Albania's performance still makes me emotional. i don't know the language so I have no idea what they're singing about, but just by looking at them, i can see that they love each other very much. they look genuinely happy and to be here and you can see that Albina is failing not to smile so much. i just absolutely love this song, and above all, the performance ❤❤❤

My god the production by the BBC this year was outstanding. That stage was insanely good quality along with the graphics and lighting
May I point out that production was BBC and Ukrainian part app. 50-50 ratio. However, it was a fabulous organisation and collaboration 🌟✨

i am Italian and i am so proud about my country. but all the countries have been just incredible! all the songs deserved the best.
even if i am huge fan of Sweden and really loved Italy and Cyprus, I stil don t understand why Germany is that underrated, I mean , they sound really well, they're catchy , they're fun , and they really had a connection with the audience, and the connection crossed the tv screens for sure.

So to those who are saying that loreen also got many points. You have a point. However the jury created such a wide gap between sweden and all other countires, that no realistic public voting could have surpassed it. If it was a normal gap ( and im not saying only finland should have been 2nd in jury voting) kaarija would have passed loreen with many points. There was a 200 points gap in jury voting, which is not both ideal or normal.
I think it was planned from the beginning to make Sweden the winner. Jury should not have the right to vote and it should be public only.
The jury choose the way better singer. The public choose for performance.

Finland was the true winner of people's hearts because his song was catchier and his performance made people feel something. A whole crowd shouting "Cha Cha Cha" should be enough to understand that his song was an absolute banger and crowd favourite while her song may be slightly enjoyable but will probably soon be forgotten because it's a sadder, low quality version of Euphoria. So if you want to judge a song by the voice and the person who sang it then go ahead.
I'm mostly upset that the juries gave votes to their neighbors. The jury vote is there to discourage that.
This does suck that Finland didnt get the win but he became a star from this show. Hopefully he is able to do bigger things after and show that you dont need to win in order to become a superstar

I hear all of you who think the jury's votes should be removed. I understand that people are tired of Sweden and all their wins but sometimes you have to sit back and realise that everyone thinks differently. In this case, the summarising votes thought that Sweden was the best. No one will ever be completely satisfied with the winner, but isn't that what competition is all about? We can't think that a country can't win just because it has won so many times, because it's about who is the best that year. In my opinion, all countries are winners who want to unite our Europe with music. Then you decide which song you liked the most and which is YOUR winner. You don't have to watch Eurovision in Sweden next year or listen to Loreen's song. But please be respectful of other people's opinions and keep a friendly tone.

The EBU knew they fucked it up when the whole arena started to chant " Cha Cha Cha" during the voting
I understand that a jury is needed to prevent the competition from turning into a circus, but the 50/50 system doesn't work when it completely turns the scoreboard on its head. The jury feels more drawn towards certain countries, can disagree with the public to an unreasonable degree, and the points are based on the music taste of a few individuals. EBU should start to consider a 40/60 or 30/70 system to give more power to the people, while still ensuring quality productions.
