Though not thrilled about the price, I understand why. No one engineers their figures like this. This figure is forward progress in terms of innovation. Other companies need to take note on how to properly conceal joints and still have good articulation. The fingers look amazing and will give you photographers a ton of options. Easily top 5 fig of the year.

I know this isn't the exact same figure (trust me the 1000 toys one is on my list) but everyone should look into the Mezco 2019 hellboy figure. excellent figure and great quality. and probably more than $100 cheaper
In order to budget myself I allow myself one major purchase a year. I am very tempted for this to be that purchase

Great review and cool figure! I really enjoyed hearing you get excited about the articulation, lol. I always felt like figures or collectibles that have hidden articulation or covered (like cloth or rubber) should have one of those little icons like the Vitruvian Man or something showing exactly where the points are. The kinda scratch we pay for these figures I'd hate to break it.
Haha thanks man. I usually take some time to mess with the figure before recording but this time I just went for it, so all my reactions were my initial natural reactions. That's a great idea to have a Vitruvian man chart in there. I get nervous when I pose with figures with hidden joints too.

The gripe about the fingers kinda clues like you haven’t read the comics. It’s eerily on point. The gun isn’t the Good Samaritan. It’s the giant revolver that Torch of Liberty gave him. Otherwise, great review!
Glad I got my hands on this one, very sad I couldn't get the limited. Excalibur is a must imo. I'm hoping limited preorders last a little bit longer next time! Great review.

How they done the shoulders with the rubber body is incredible ans should be done more often.

Which one is better? the standard release or the exclusive direct version? includes with horn and sword
$100 for a well engineered 1:12 scale licensed action figure with all these features, sounds about right. Plus unlike say a Mezco Batman, this is very limited in production & licensing, so the price is fair.

I really love to get that figure I mean the design of holly in the comics I just loved it and I was thinking there was no figure of the comic ver but there is just that is out of stock in almost everywhere and its expensive :(

They should have made those fingers with hidden joints. Just have the joint at each knuckle overlap the segment beneath it . Does that make sense? I cant really explain it on words well.
also maybe scale it down by about 5%

Its dope. And i love creative engineering on my toys, but i wish there was maybe a little wash on the face or maybe a little more paint overall? He just looks so clean. Especially to based on mike magnolia art.

Oh that's a great Idea! Neca turtles are similar but the overlays are to solid to allow much movement. 1000toys would do a nice job on them.

Hopefully my answer was helpful. It's hard to say whether it's worth it. I will say this though, I do not regret that I bought it.... Not one bit.
It’s super worth it. Got mine from amiami two days ago and I can’t put it down. You can feel the quality. It really pops on the self. Get it, you won’t regret it.

There’s an extra accessory that came with horns and Excalibur. Though that was an exclusive purchase or u can get them from the bootleg
