Our daughter is the young lady who ends up on the 45 yard Line... We are proud to say that she will be on the field in 2008 as a LSU Golden Girl.... Her school schedule would not allow to be part of the LSU band in 2006 & 2007!
I'm from Troy University's 'Sound of the South' marching band and i tell you that we were amazed at coming to see this band for the game. we may have an incredibly powerful sound, but this band has amazing precision and performance! Major props!
My grandmother was one of the first women in Tiger Band, something she was quite proud of. Sadly I didn't have enough time to devote to it myself, but the roar from the crowd in Tiger Stadium when the band fires off the first few notes of pregame can be heard almost 2 miles away down Nicholson drive. Almost like being lifted into heaven by your spinal column.

WOOOOOOOOO GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps. my friends and i put together the most amazing LSU team with random players from past and present years. it would be amazing just to watch that!!!
VT played LSU before in 2002 and beat them 26-8. Though it was in Blacksburg, it was with damn near the same squad that won the National Championship next year. Don't sell VT short. It will be a great game.
I'm a huge georgia fan, but lsu is definitely my second favorite team. I think we showed the rest of college football what the SEC really is. Go Dawgs! Geaux Tigers!
LSU = best stadium noise and fan base in colledge football... it has the loudest stadium in the nation and probably the most insain fans there ever were... hell they even caused scientist one game to think that there was an earthquake

why does the first song they play get everyone so fired up? everytime I see lsu play people go nuts when that song plays....BUT i'll be down in Baton Rouge in November to see you guys take on the Tide!
everyone that has negative comments about tiger band pregame has not seen it in person. that is something i realized today. all they are going off of is youtube videos.

Tiger Stadium is probably the only stadium that has a crowd that so loud that they drown out the sound of the band
the atmosphere at an LSU game is incredible. Ive been to Saints games, and the dome rocks, but it cant compare to 90,000 screaming college fans.
