Don, I always appreciate your reviews. And while I think AXIS Oblivion's sample import is fantastic, the price is a non-starter. Half that amount would be reasonable for what you get.

@@barcodeindustries Not so much that there's anything missing, more to do with having similar libraries or VSTs to create similar sounds and sequences, albeit perhaps not as quickly and easily as with Oblivion, l could of course be wrong and find Oblivion offers much more than can be put across in a relatively short overview, hence why l would have loved to see a trial version, perhaps a fully functioning 7 day trial, $199 is a significant amount if you're still not sure Oblivion will be a library you will get a great deal of use in your compositions, all the best with it, I will certainly be interested in trying out a trial version should you decide to realise one.

I completely understand your hesitation in committing to a premium price tag based solely on audio and video demos. I’ve certainly been burned myself - it’s actually why I started Barcode Industries. At this time, a fully functional trial is something outside of our distribution abilities as a small independent developer - however, what we have done in the past is offer freebie versions of our instruments as a Black Friday deals. I can’t honestly say whether that will happen this year, but it’s certainly worth keeping an eye out for it! Again, thank you for your feedback - it’s very much appreciated!
Sounds really cool however the price is a bit too much, that’s the amount of money you use for a fully fledged orchestra library or a new piece of gear!

What AXIS really brings to the table is the versatility of how the engine shapes the sounds instead of just using a bunch of baked in FX.
