    I think it's interesting how vainglory ties in with respect. You'd think that vainglory exists on it's own and that it's about how you're perceived (but how you're perceived in and of itself is more a pride type concern) but really vainglory is about the persistent desire to be revered/respected. Respect gives you more freedom. When you show signs of status, you're showing signs of power, which means you are likely to be feared/respected and this enables you to do more without being stopped by people/rules.
    I would add that one result of satiating vainglory would be satisfaction (a need from the shadow), because living the lifestyle of your dreams is satisfying.

    Hey. Great Video.
    I could be wrong here, but I am assuming that being SD or UD is not always one or the other, but more like a spectrum?
    Lets imagine growing up in a family that is very compatible with your ENTP shadow, but simoultaneously your friend groups in school allows you to be in your EGO and ESFP sub. focused side. Essentially you are learning to be kind of integrated/balanced in your early life to some degree.
    Would this then mean in that case that there is a possibility to be 50/50 developed, in essence 50 % SD and 50 % UD.
    Or is this not correct ? Because I struggle a little bit to firmly place myself in one or the other, because I can kind of see myself in both.
    Do others here feel the same ? Or is it more normal to very clearly choose one or the other as your Development is complete?
    So anyways.
    Is it more normal that we end up becoming one or the other? More or less like black or white, either SD or UD.
    Or is it more balenced? Like very much more Grey area like a spectrum.
    I hope this was written clearly and in an understandable manner. And I am probably failing to see myself clearly perhaps, to evaluate myself anyhow,
    Maybe someone has an answer to this or feel the same way about some of these question? :)

      @lagerthalothbrok6082 Před rokem +2

      Afaik: it's as much of a spectrum as being an introvert or an extrovert. If you want to see it that way. Thing is that a person is either primarily an introvert or an extrovert. One or the other, period. It doesn't change. But a, say, introverted person can develop their secondary extroverted sides. So they appear like they've moved up on the spectrum basically, but they're still as much as before primarily one or the other, in this case: an introvert.
      Likewise of course everyone has UD as well as SD in them always, but they're also always primarily one or the other. Someone can have their U developed and then later on develop their S and then become UD again. They'll have characteristica and tools of both sides at that point, but they'll still always be primarily one or the other. So yes I think it's black and white in the sense that someone is PRIMARILY momentarily one or the other, while it absolutely doesn't mean that a UD person can't also enjoy the fruits of their former SD and thus from the outside appear like their more inbetween the two, on a spectrum

      Yes I hear you and very good question Holmefjord. I think this is much like a macro vs meso vs micro question. It's like on a macro level you can be depressed but you show up to work neutral and there might be this one colleague a day turning on your happy subconscious side for a minute.
      I grew up in a typical ISFJ sensor village and family yet when I got to middle and high school I was in this top class program where 80/90% was intuitive with lots of NT's. I think it helped me become more of a rounded person - and understand when, how and why I switch modes.

    • @alexmatei9759
      @alexmatei9759 Před rokem +1

      Opinions change I guess :)). Don’t always rely on his typing, especially when he does only from a couple of phrases that a person says - it works sometimes but it is a somewhat faulty approach.
      He did say Robert Greene was an INTJ, but later called him an INFP because his book “The 48 laws of power” aligns with his cognitive origin of authority, or so he says :). He also typed Elon Musk an INTP when he’s and INTJ.

    • @zile8869
      @zile8869 Před rokem +2

      @alexmatei9759 elon musk is not an INTJ, my man.
      He is a clear INTP.
      I mean, it's literally obvious. Just look at him! He is definitely an Ne-Si user, and shows little to no sign of Se.
      He also display Ti on the regular as well as, being unbelievable informative and responding (background type).
      Also you didnt listen to his full story on the typing of Robert Greene. He didn't type robert Greene as an INTJ at all.
      Infact, he said himself that he didn't understand how everyone was typing Robert as an INTJ. Tho later he and Raka gave an explanation as to why he thinks everyone else types Greene as INTJ, while he is sure he is an INFP.
      He then also said he first thought Robert was SF, but raka or someone said something that convinced him Robert was UF.
      Most of the time Chase types accurately, my only major doubts are in a few cases where he is typing someone based soley off a written work about them or an art they created e.g. when he typed the creator of Krav Maga, he kept changing between INTJ and INTP. And now with Miyamoto, it's the same thing.

    Its really sad, maybe you can make a sensor video, when there are too many intuitive ones. Like just 1/6. Just for free. I am getting exhausted of NJ and NT. I know that these doesnt help you earning money, but may help sensors to get more representation and make us seem interesting.

      Agree there. I’m an INTP, with whom sensors have always been a puzzle to me as they think so much differently from me and would like to learn more about these socially aware individuals. I always found ESFP’s to be great fun, and they are much more abundant than INTP’s.

    • @TokyoTaisu
      @TokyoTaisu Před rokem +2

      Find systems to outplay as a source of income and then drive MARGIN by being ultra efficient. Trading isn't really our thing but investing is. And not in people/startups/corporates but more in real estate. When you move from 5-10k USD free cash flow a month to 20k USD life is getting better but Bugatti territory starts at 60k USD a month. Not because you can buy one but because you will be in circles where people drive Bugatti and they will happily let you drive for free.

    • @alexmatei9759
      @alexmatei9759 Před rokem

      Agree. He sometimes says some things that are somewhat detached from reality. I am not sure if that’s because of his lack of Se or Te, but either way, he probably says some interpretation of his own (Si) experience and then makes a faulty conclusion with his Ti only from that experience.
      That being said, there are also helpful things he says, like the modesty part which surprinsigly I feel it in myself, so that’s why I come back to his videos. I throw the trash and take only the valuable things he has to offer.
