Test glow plug is not conclusive, because glow plug are not the same type.
Plus it is not clear the voltage is given to the plugs
Note that the delphi is very thin hence quickly heat up , low resistance and look newer than the others
Lets not talk about their injectors...
Less efficient too
Bosch glow plugs light up a lot faster than that
Si puó sapere perché in un video trovato altrove le candele beru in 8 secondi diventano bianche e qui si scaldano appena?
They will all do the job. How about torque when they will brake to pieces or the thread will shear off inside the head upon removal?
glows hot and fast how many times can it do that, I dont want to change them once a year
Hello. Under normal circumstances, glow plugs have a very long service life. One hundred thousand kilometers or more is not uncommon for glow plugs.
Yaşadığınız.yerin iklim şartlarına göre almak daha mantıklı,soğuk bir şehirde yaşıyorsanız delphi,sıcak şehirlerde delphi kullanınca buji kaynama yapar çıkarması zor olur bence
Most modern glow plugs have a lot of different voltage ratings. Hardly any are 12volt rated. Put 12 volts into a plug rated for 7 volts and will glow very bright very quickly. It will also fail in no time too. I've just fitted a set of glow plugs into a newer Volvo VEA engine and they are rated at 4.4 volts.
But delphi plugs also melt down n drop onto the piston n cause engine damage. i have seen this happen. N the controller is also responsible for damage somtimes due to faulty time duration.
Nice test however, please give the Amp and watt draw of the plugs and max temp of each to be a more informative draw. Also, is the Delphi plug a 5 or 12 volt plug?? Thanks.
Thanks for good information, and thanks for good feedback.
Delph has a thinner electrode get way too hot won’t last long 👍
That's just what I said up above! lol
thinner electrode = less current = less heat... this mean other brands using thinner coil, delphi uses ceramic heater (long life, fast heating)...
@@pr0fessoro they ALL use ceramic, delphi is using newer 5v version used in common rail engines compared to older versions shown here. so test is nowhere near a true comparison , bosch-NGK-Beru make the best plugs hands down
And that's your opinion. I'll go with my lion eyes.
Unfair all diff types of glow plugs
Lol not same type plus that Delphi is a 5v compared to other 11v ones
hola José , cuantos amperes consumirá, sabes?
oprócz delphi reszta to jakieś stare świece. widać że używane
Brisk was the last to cool down so I’d think that would be the best plug and Delphi would be decent as well but it would cool way faster causing you to have to let it reheat but idk I think it’s a toss up between the two
The Delphi plug clearly gets hotter than the others but that just might cause their life span to be reduced & burn out before any of the others! That's just my thoughts BTW...I'm no glow plug professor! lol
That Delphi is 5v and will obviously burn out fast at that wrong voltage
Never trust ''personal opinions'' of a ''professor.''
i recomend getting on bosch those are the oly ones i have been rocomended to buy by mechanics as they are durable unlike other ones and they dont break as easy when screwing out
Delphi plug is for modern low compression diesel the others are not, the test is a fail, use all the same plugs for same engine then re test, as a mechanic I can tell you the bosh will finish top, bosh invented the first passenger car glow plugs and are the leaders I. The field,
Pre heat and Post heat are determined by the engine they are designed for, so that is also why they should all be the same type of plug
Arren Lambert the Delphi wont last long on this test fella...
bosch was good, now is like other german brands - make low quality to sell more...
Too bad they can build a file system to save their lives.
But denso and ngk are better than bosch
Do glow plugs last 100,000 + miles?
are going to do a comparison between all those and Diesel RX glowplugs?
Exactly my question as well.
Can't wait for that vid
Yesterday i took off my glow plugs and saw that one of the was coverd with engine oil. What could be the reason? Other 3 was normal and clean.
Hi! Do you have any oil consumption? it may be The oil seals on the valve stems have (become) / slack / brittle?
@@Tigernor no only on the fisrt start for 5 seconds. That comes from probably the oil on the glow plug
Ngk?
U guys know what would be best and save u time, thought and headaches. Just get identical to what came with the car from factory.. exactly how u got it day one wen u bought the car.
Make it 100 times and then make a test
Delphi winer?
How the heck is it not a fair test "because it uses different glow plugs"??? Did no one read the word "comparison" in the title?
Delphi one is for 5v just a example
He should use ones for the same engine but different brands
The Delphi kicked ass because it’s a ceramic tipped style.
The real test is how long they last
and the winner is Beru !
Give me Bosch or Brisk on a cold cold cold cold day
Glow plug कहा मिल सकता है
We are manufacturer of glow plugs ..
Delphi is the best 👍 thanks a lot
It's not mate
Delphi, hence chevys cold start abilitys, I think cummins uses bosch, I trust both names in glowplugs tho lol
Baylan Maverick Legacy Cummins uses grid heaters...
😂😂😂😂😂
@@Isawholyfire expect the 5.0 cummins use glow plugs
delfi is just fantastic
No, it's not! :)
Delphi might be the best but YOU cannot get them anywhere for a Toyota 1HZ engine believe i have tried all over the world NOT AVAILABLE
Deveria mostrar a ligação elétrica ver se todas estão recebendo a mesma tensão!
Delphi is NEW.
Another ist OLD
😂😂😂
different glow plugs ...
helo Bro, flashpoint diesel is 55 degree and pure hydraulic oil about 250 degree, I easy start with cheap glow plug beru on hydraulic oil.but I use now duratec with long lifetime. because he have more than 500 degree. For me best glow is > big lifetime, on these vidie DENSO cause damage, can bend or melt aluminum head around. On video is best BOSCH - no abnormal heat like DENSO, and heat only in combustion chamber, worst is Brisk. I cant use DENSO lke this video - possible damage injection nozzle from injector too., long life is very important no 1000 degre on plug and damage engine head. But be careful about testing, make truth test - maybe DENSO is for 5volt or 4V not for 12V. on 5V will glowing in normal temperature and will be best glow plug on these video. chech the technical document about denso. Denso is good brand, maybe better then BOSCH.
A prayer for peace.
Father God, I often find myself overwhelmed by circumstances that are beyond my control, and I am easily distracted by things that don’t matter. Please forgive me for not consistently placing my trust in You. Even when I am faced with intense situations, You are still with me. You are the Creator of peace, and I can have access to Your peace-filled presence whenever I draw near to You. So instead of silencing Your Holy Spirit when I start to feel anxious or discouraged, help me to make room in my heart and mind to experience the peace You freely give. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Yeah... different type of plugs... bs video. Top of that doesn’t matter how quick or red it gets most important part is the longevity . Bosch is Bosch like it or not.
It's not a comparison as these glow plugs aren't the same type (length, etc.)... Sorry, but👎
Delphi worst one
useless test
