- If you’re like me, you love Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and other classic survival horror games from yesteryear. And if you’re also like me you’re also starved for new ones. While we have had some amazing indie games, which deserve a whole list of their own, we still have a lot of games that for one reason or another just flew under the radar for most people and today I wanted to share some that you will probably enjoy.

Cold Fear came out 2 months after RE4. It’s hard to call it a “clone” when they were both in development at the same time and released almost the same time.
Came here hoping someone would be thinking that too. Plus Cold Fear allowed you to move and shoot which was a huge plus.
Yeah.
I know a lot of people will disagree, but imo Cold Fear was also the better game in terms of "Horror".
@@SKBoaapostasy!
Came here to say the same haha both games were released only months apart in 2005.
Cold Fear was actually in development before Resident Evil 4, it just happened to come out after 4's release.
0:00 Intro
0:43 #10 Clock Tower
2:23 #9 Disaster Report
3:50 #8 Cold Fear
5:26 #7 Fear Effect
8:01 #6 Deadly Premonition
10:15 #5 D2
11:57 #4 Carrier
13:15 #3 Tormented Souls
14:04 #2 Galerians
15:57 #1 Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
17:45 Conclusion
Thanks
FYI, Cold Fear was actually in development at the same time as RE4 and released less than two months after RE4. So it certainly can't be a "clone" in the traditional sense. Also, the way the camera works is very much in the vein of pre-RE4 games rather than the over the shoulder camera used in RE4.
I played this game hoping to kill time until RE4 came out. It did ok but when 4 finally came out there was no comparison.
Thank you, I thought it was not an RE4 clone.
Plus, you play as a member of the Coast Guard. You're not a Navy Seal. I think the team in the intro cutscene are Seals.
There is one game I really expected to see on a list like this: Haunting Ground for the PS2. It's a great atmospheric game and it's real survival horror.
It's FANTASTIC
Omg yes, Haunting Ground is my favorite game ever ♡
i own the PS2 version and i still have to beat Daniella, but she is so cool and scary.
Haunting Ground is so good. I see people comparing it to Rule of Rose, but that game sucks ass in comparison to HG
@@cheepcheep2204
Honestly, I always wanted to play RoR but that game is rare here in Europe and expensive on top.
"Mr. Morgan" here talking about Deadly Premonition without talking about that music.
Original Dead Space (2008) has a mute protagonist. Curse the Eye of Isis (2003) should be worth mentioning. A little known survival horror gem with a unique setting in late 19th century London and Egypt.
September 1, 1867 to December 31, 1900.
I highly recommend The Suffering and The Suffering: Ties That Bind. They are more action focused but have amazing atmosphere and monster design comparable to silent hill.
If you have a ps2 or Xbox those are the definitive ways to play the first game, because on pc the audio for the first game is completely messed up. Pc is good for the second game though
They're more on the action side than horror and I wouldn't call them survival horror.
But The Suffering: Prison is Hell is a favorite of mine. Midway rarely ever made any boring games and the Suffering is a game I still enjoy playing to this day. I think it's important to mention a few things about it, though:
One, the main character's story is secondary to the story of the island he's on. His backstory *is* important, obviously, but part of what draws you in is all that's happened on the island itself over its long history.
Two, the action takes the front stage in the game. There are definitely scary moments, but in most cases, if you're used to scary horror games, this will be more of a horror-skinned action game (like Clive Barker's Jericho or something, but less rushed and shit).
Im still hoping for a remake
How about The Thing game itself or Gorky 17. Latter is actually a turn-based tactic, but I really liked the heavy atmosphere and there is a survival aspect with ammo/consumables management, research gone wrong plot and even some puzzles. Both games are very near and dear to my heart and offer some nice chills.
Pretty sure youre coast gaurd in cold fear, and the no map thing just really added to it. I was gutted it didn't do better I absolutely loved it
“We won’t be talking about more or less known games, it’s about hidden gems, okay? SO! Clock Tower!” Lmao
Yeah, I lol'd when I saw Clock Tower as the first choice. It hasn't been considered a hidden gem in eons lol
Do you expect anything less from a video like this
I absolutely loved the Clock Tower series. The multiple endings are crazy and one of the first games to have so many.
Clock tower is pretty well known. It’s not exactly hidden.
Same for Deadly Premonition these days and literally anything Silent Hill. Really bizarre pulls for a hidden gem list.
Good list minus Clock Tower, that's not hidden everybody knows Clock Tower.
To this day, Fear Effect 1 is still amongst my favourite games of all time. A fantastic story with an awesome soundtrack and great stylised visuals let down only by it's clunky controls and infuriating trial and error sections, but such was the way of the industry at the time.
You suggested folks use an emulator with save states to get around issues with the save system which is fair enough, but I must warn people who do this to ensure that they cap their frame rate. There are several points in the game where all you have to do to proceed is run away from an explosion/fire, but if your frame rate is not capped then the explosion animation in the background moves too fast for you to escape and you become softlocked.
In response to your questions about Fear Effect 2, functionally it's the same game but it's bigger and shinier. The plot is much more intelligent but suffers from serious pacing issues and it falls into the trap that many prequels do; it answers questions about the original that absolutely nobody asked. Still a great game, but the first one is my preference.
There was a planned third game called Fear Effect Inferno for release in 2003 but that was cancelled quite late in production.
Fear Effect Sedna was released in 2018 but i've never played it.
There was a remake of the first game called Fear Effect Reinvented in production but it has sadly recently been cancelled with no reason yet given.
I liked it too. I've played it in my RG350 and had no issues.
I like Fear Effect 2 more, it's just a better made game
The remake would've been targeted by twitter and the "gaming" journalists unless some heavy editing was done.
They have Fear Effect: Sedna, but it’s isometric, no atmosphere.
Dude, you've made an amazing collection. The first game with Jennifer, it has elements of the new parts of Resident Evil, the hiding under the bed moment. As well as the design of the baby itself can also be seen in this game. Incredible!
Clock Tower literally inspired RE1 dude.
@@matthewscott2070And RE1 original idea heavily inspired RE7
I love the original Clock Tower!
Sure it’s a bit slow paced and confusing where to go sometimes, but the artwork and atmosphere is incredible. I’ve gotten the best ending.
And it's gonna be re-released next year. Can't wait to see what it's all about.
The PSX version has been transalted and it's the best version of that game, check it out
@ I just might. Thanks.
Clock Tower 2 is really good too
And the sound design is truly fantastic
Cold fear is my favorite, one of the best, sadly is a bit short, but the atmosphere is amazing 😊 great stuff.
Thank you for including Clock Tower! I loved playing those games when I was a kid. Hell, I still play them when I get a chance. ❤
I hated clocktower 3 the final boss is impossible
Glad you mentioned Galerians! In addition to its movie adaptation, the game also got an artbook and a novelization, which was partially translated by a Galerians fan with the handle Shiva Indis. Only about 30 pages of the novel have been translated, but what I read was pretty intriguing! There is also a sequel for the PS2 called Galerians: Ash.
Galerians is great though you have to be careful not to softlock yourself. If you use your powers too much you can "short" which will kill you in a minute or two and can only be stopped with a special medicine which there is a limited supply of on each level.
@@grubermeister6139Yeah, but I imagine most people figured that out right away.
As soon as I had to use an item to fix it I knew to watch out for it.
Fantastic games
So glad you have included SH: shattered memories. I have replayed that game twice this month as I got it on the wii. I used to hate it back in the day, when I played it on ps2 , but replaying it now I found a new appreciation for it. The story is amazing, and exploring the city is amazing. It falls short with nightmare stages, puzzles and ironically with replay value.
I also found it to be immersive, especially where you use wiimote as a phone and listen to phone messages that way. It feels very personal and unsettling.
I don't agree that Cold Fear is a copy of RE4, because it was released 3 months after RE4. RE4 was released in January 2005, cold fear was released in March 2005. They couldn't have copied a game in 3 months... maybe there was a demo of RE4 released earlier, but I don't think they would be able to rework the whole game in 6 months or so.
Some unknown survival horror games I like but don't seem to be know: Illbleed, The Ring: Terror's Realm, Alone in the Dark:TNN, Clock Tower 3, Headhunter, Enemy Zero, Penumbra
yes a very underrated offshot.
A really nice recent throwback game is Them and Us. Also some cool forgotten survival horror games are the 2000s Blair Witch games, Haunting Ground and Ecstatica (basically RE Village in the 90s)
I never would have thought that 16-bit graphics could scare me, but Clock Tower proved me wrong.
Love these videos! I think it was your top ten Halloween video that got me hooked on your channel! Keep it up!
In terms of retro survival horror, I remember enjoying Obscure, which was not that obscure at the time (haha…), but in the 20+ years since its release, I never heard about it again.
Great video! I knew most of the games here, but I'm glad to see more perspectives on said games (there were some hidden gems I hadn't heard of, like Carrier). Hope to see a part 2 ^_^.
A game I never see mentioned is Run Like Hell. I wouldn't recommend it as a must-play, but it is an experience. It's a third person shooter with horror elements similar to Dead Space. If the game could be summed up into a single word it would be 'misguided'. There are some known actors that did voice work for the game and the story is very Hollywood in it's delivery. The Xbox got the superior version with extra content and enemies
Run Like Hell was a weird one, heavily marketed around groundbreaking horror mechanics but honestly it felt more like a prototype for Mass Effect or something. Definitely too much ambition went into that game.
Despite being a clumsy, budget RE clone, Countdown Vampires is a surprisingly entertaining, playable game. It's got its B-movie charm with silly story and exhilarating voice "acting" and it's also longer than your usual survival horror flick (came out on 2 discs). It's not too hard on the action side but be warned, it features lots of backtracking, samey locations and some ridiculously confusing riddles all the way.
Great video. I remember so many of these. Especially the Dreamcast ones.
What i liked about silent shattered memories is the fact that places and people change according to choices and time spent looking at objects. wish more games did this. plus its ending / revelation is awesome and dark.
> "I won't be including well-known games like Parasite Eve and Dino Crisis"
> Includes Clock Tower
Kai, brother, amigo, come on
Amazing video! This video actually unlocked a memory of watching my dad play Fear Effect when I was a child! Pretty sure dad still has the PS1 with the cd back at grandma's :0
I recommend Kuon! (Which apparently was supposed to get a sequel iirc but sadly since it didn't do well on sales, Fromsoft dropped it and carried on with other projects)
i recommend Heaven Dust 1 and 2. Both are isometric Resident Evil clones and have a great feeling of survival horror. Especially part 2
Yes. Totally agree. Chibi Evil is definitely fun to play. The challenges are a bit demanding though.
I've played through the second Fear Effect. It's a prequel and tells an unrelated story from the original game. In some aspects the motion background visuals have improved but it's basically more of the same with insanely hard puzzles. I used a GameShark to get through some harder puzzles. I've beaten the original game multiple times but Fear Effect 2 once and left it sitting on my shelf.
They are all kind of well known in the community, except for Tormented Souls. Great seeing some love for it. And nevertheless, it's great watching your view on them and getting more recognition on them.
I did play Clock Tower, which is FANTASTIC. The PSX one is actually the SECOND game, and CT2 and CT3 have nothing to do with the rest, they're cashing in for the name. I also played Cold Fear, which is honestly a very very good game. I finished with no cheats, no guide, no nothing, during Halloween some decade ago.
Also also, I am a happy owner of a copy of Silent Hill Shattered Memories. Enjoying it on the Wii has to be one of the best gaming experiences I had. It's not super duper scary, but had its own unique dread sensation and intense immersion.
Lastly, Kai, no love for Cursed Mountain? C'mon man! That and Daymare!
The first game had a updated release for PSX, Windows and the WonderSwan which were only in Japan (like the Super Famicom original) and yes, the other one is a sequel to the first game, the reason for the second game being treated as the "first" game is due to the first game never getting releases outside of Japan, besides fan translations for the Super Famicom game and its updated releases on Windows and PSX.
I rage quit daymare on that bloody chase scene near (I assume) the end. Tried umpteen times and even watched a video guide (which i hate doing) but still couldn't get past it. So uninstalled, shame as i was really enjoying it. I liked the whole reload mechanic, that was cool.
I knew about some of these but I did discover some new ones so thank you.
Carrier is such an amazing game. It came out at a very particular time. RE Code Veronica was almost out and we had recently been through RE3. The game runs at a super smooth 60fps and the graphics are super clear. It has awesome atmosphere and that feeling that you’re alone. Definitely try this if you have a DC.
Surprised to not see "Hell Night" on here, a PS1 first person survival horror where all you can do is run. Had a really cool health mechanic involving a second person alongside you. Definitely check that out sometime
"Hellnight" it seems is how it's spelled. "Hell Night" is an old 1981 movie that used to creep me out as a kid. Not amazing by today's standards, but I still recommend people watching it just because.
I'll have to check out that game, though. Or watch it, at least.
EDIT: Oh shit, I *did* check it out but never finished watching the video on it for some reason.
Just posted the same and deleted it cause i saw your post, i still own that game, it was damn good, it is also know as Dark Messiah in case ppl are interested in trying it out.
Would be nice to see a video about it.
@@Lucifronz A halloween movie recommendation, thank you very much! Bonkers game as it is really interesting to hear the lines your second person comes out with, they can get pretty freaky
Love this hidden gems series awesome kai, overblood is one of my hidden gems and fear effect 2 :retro helix
Gallerians, clock tower, fear effect ! So much nostalgia ❤
Amazing countdown as usual! Does anyone remember that game extermination on PS2? That game was wild.
I should've gone through more comments; I played it, but too confusing for me at the time
Oh yeah I feel you on that!
Well produced video, as always. And I totally agree on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. A unique Silent Hill game, also unique regardless of the SH theme.
Sweet thanks, I will definitely check these out. just recently acquired a dreamcast so I would like to grow the library.
OMG I LOVE The look of Carrier. I don't know why, but it calls to me. I've never heard of it before, so thank you for this video :)
Try Koudelka. It’s strange at first, but once you get familiar with it, it offers amazing visuals and a really good story.
Always drawn to your content... Nice work buddy.
Galerians is one of my favorite classic survival horror games. It also has a sequel on the PS2 Galerians: Ash. Sadly the second games ends in a way that basically means we'd never get a third.
Dang as someone super into Resident Evil and Silent Hill (going as far as Let's Playing) you've given me some good gems to investigate. Kudos brother. ;P
Song of Horror is also a really neat survival horror game with nice story, atmosphere and lots of playable characters with permadeath mechanics.
YES Galerians! I just played it for the first time last month and loved it so much. It's a really brutal game first playthrough, I didn't understand how to keep your power up so I fought all the bosses at lvl 1 lol. Has one of my fav silly cutscenes of all time, "oh the donation!"
Vids are always great and well thought. I have one for the list,Exterminator for ps2
Love Fear Effect. The sequel was very good too, didn’t have the original feel, but more than worth it if you love the first.
Awesome picture video thanks ink Ribbon one game which was outstanding was the original Blood omen game and of course Forbidden siren!😎👍
I am surprised that Deep fear didn't make it on the list. It's a somewhat well known but not super well known because it's a Sega Saturn game and on top of that It was only ever released in Japan and Europe. The European version is super expensive but as far as I know the Japanese version is still inexpensive.
Man I just ebayed DF prices and I can't believe how much is it right know, I still have my EU copy purchased by snail mail back then, probably one of the few ones in Italy, it's one of those games I come back from time to time and I wish there was a sequel or another deep water themed survival horror
Raw danger was the name for me with that storm survival game and that was my jam back in highschool
Also, if you're planning to expand the list in the future, I recommend you try Martian Gothic: Unification. It's a weird game, but it gave me real scares back in the day.
Yessss was looking for something to play btw what happened to the podcast?
love ya Kai x
Carrier for dreamcast was a great one too also trag is another one, it has a resident evil feel but your fighting robots and can switch characters at some point, I also think that it is 2 player co-op
Great video, man. Loved the one set in Hong Kong. Looking forward to play it. Hope, it can be played on M1 Mac at least via CrossOver.
Been playing Shattered Memories on the PSP and absolutely *loving it*.
I was hoping you’d add ObsCure. Of course it’s not an amazing game, but it hits that Code Veronica game play (fixed camera positions and lingering camera movements), has lightly weapon combinations like Dead Rising (only with guns and flashlights, but still intriguing for the time), and honestly a great setting (a high school, though it is confusing, since it looks like a college, but in game it does say it was reused, so I think it’s a boarding school that was shut down and turned into a high school). The story is a little light and is a little silly, but I think the game is going for more of a Scream tone, being a little cheeky. It’s also pretty nice with its puzzles and such. The worst things about it is that it only really has one boss and just little sections of harder enemies, a broken floor sections that is a little hard, and the way to reload or change your weapons is on buttons, rather than in a menu, which all weapons and items are in, so it’s hard to control. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely a gem and underrated.
It also had an amazing soundtrack. More love for ObsCure!!!
I was going to say ObsCure in comments too. Haven’t finished it yet but so far it’s been great although slightly difficult for me.
@@tricouleur9689 Yeah, I didn’t get the game until last year (I don’t do pc and finding a physical copy is insane; I’ve wanted it since 2009/2010), so I didn’t really finish it up until June/July. It can be a little hard, but I do find it easier than say the original Resident Evil games. Also, when you get the the final boss, and if your playing alone, don’t take in a partner, it helps to have just one character.
I have the X-Box original physical copy and I don’t know of the original PS2 and PC ports are similar to mine, but if your playing the Steam version, it’s actually slightly different. Not much and the story is the same, but there is a different way in mine to unlock the upper library door and it has a removed cutscene with the enemies that crawl on the ceiling (the characters come out in the hallway and it’s from the monsters point of view seeing them). In the Steam version, the cutscene is nonexistent and to unlock the door on that floor is different too.
Actually the trailer/game pause screen movie actually shows completely different clips from the game, like none of them match up to the story, so it makes me wonder if the game was completely different before too.
But ObsCure IS amazing.
Great Couch Co op Stuff.
@@DeKay1980 It definitely is. Such an underrated game. I prefer 1 over 2, but 2 is still a bit fun.
I was waiting another 'Horror Hidden Gems' video since the previous video in October of 2019. Honorable mentions: Chaos Break, Hellnight, Vampire Hunter D and Deep Fear.
Silent hill shattered memories and deadly premonition I will remember for the rest of my life. Some games are good, some games are great and some games imprint themselves on you, changing you forever.
Awesome list! I Remember I bought Fear Effect because I liked the art in the cover(felt unique to me, hard to explain). But as soon as I booted the game I found out I needed to not let my parents see me playing it lmao. Good times!
Decent list. One horror game I recommend to everyone is Scratches: Director's Cut. It's a point and click title that REALLY gets under the skin. Seriously, you don't know anything about basements in horror until you've played this.
I would like to recommend the Alien Trilogy and Alien Resurrection for the PS1 ! They are very good, scary and also quite difficult.
I LOVE Silent Hill Shattered Memories !
Exact for the same reasons as you say.
It is totally in my top 5 Silent Hill Games.
And Tormented Souls is really a Gem. I was so looking forward to this games, because of the Resident Evil/Silent Hill vibes.
Games i would also call: The Evil Within 1+2, Haunting Ground and Remothered: Tormented Fathers, well it has a sequel but it is so bugged and glitched...
3:55 I love cold fear .. still replaying it from time to time on my emulated ps2
Finished both Carrier and Galerians a while ago, it was a good experience.
Experiencing RE on PSX first as my first survival horror game spoiled me, now nothing compares.
Kai, I'd highly recommend a little indie horror called lone survivor. It's Fantastic and one of my favourite survival horrors ever. The music is fantastic too. All made by one guy. Very strong re and sh vibes.
I second this. Jasper Byrne's soundtrack is phenomenal.
@@Reckoner89 I regularly listen to it
Did Kai just say "Tickle your pickle."? That got a laugh outta me. Awesome video as always.
Really expected to see T.R.A.G. on here (or Hard Edge), such a great, unique, and one of a kind RE clone on the Playstation 1 that deserves so much more love!!!
Growing up, I was never really into survival horror games until I played The Suffering. It's on OG Xbox and PS2. I knew nothing about it until one night I saw it at my local Blockbuster and saw that Midway made it so I decided to rent it and it did not disappoint. You play a prisoner convicted of killing your entire family and is sent to an Alcatraz-like prison and as soon you are sent to your cell, all hell breaks loose with weird-like creatures taking over, all designed after the 7 ways to be executed in prison. It was ahead of its time and was a first and third-person shooter. It had multiple endings depending on how good or bad of an inmate you treated towards other inmates and guards while trying to escape the island. It's my favorite survival game by far.
While I can’t give it a full on recommendation just yet (as I haven’t finished it), I’ve been playing through Extermination on the PS2 and it’s been a lot of fun so far due to the gun customization and the infection system, which makes nearly every combat situation a nail biter. It’s also very cheap to buy for a survival horror game which means a lot given how insane the prices of other games in the genre have gotten.
If you haven't played it yet, play Signalis. It's incredible! I would put it right up there next to Resident Evil and Silent Hill as a top-tier survival horror game
Great game, but I'm not sure it qualifies as "hidden."
@@DavidCowie2022It doesn't.
I really really really love Shattered Memories, looking forward to your retrospective! I'd like to mention Haunting Ground, that game is very special. There are more Resident Evil look-alikes, two I know of but haven't played are Deep Fear for PS1 and Extermination for PS2, but I don't know if they are any good.
Really great video. Some other lesser known horror games I’d say to try are:
Blue Stinger
Overblood 1,2 (2 is a PAL exclusive)
Deep Fear (basically under water Resident Evil)
Kuon
Sweet Home (the precursor to RE)
MADiSON
Phobia
The Medium
Cursed Mountain
I'm very surprised Overblood is one of the first games that came to your mind.
Blue Stinger was my first thought!
To be fair, people might not like Overblood. 2 is a lot different, but 1 is downright cruel to play. Lotta instant deaths, ammo is hard to find cos you just blindly search (there's no "here it is!" glint like other games), standing and crouching can trigger different search results and the platforming is.... A thing. Which is a shame cos it doesn't rely on flooding you with enemies and the story is good, plus the voice acting is surprisingly better than you'd expect.
If they remade it and fixed a couple of things, I'd argue it'd be great. But as it stands, it's pretty harsh to new players unless you know what to expect (I was half way through the game before I realized I had to blind search for ammo).
@@elliottwilde6635blue stinger was so weird but I played it a lot for some reason
Dude ,song of horror, Daymare, Mundaun, the chant and Saturnella. Those are my hidden horror gem games
Fear Effect brings back so much memories
Always happy to see Galerians getting some love
Clock tower and Silent hill making the list makes this video a throw away.
Silent Hill Shatered Memories was the only Silent Hill game I finished for years!!
Took me another 6 years to even start another game from this franchise.
I think you need to have a look at Deep Fear on the Saturn. Monsters and tank controls but in a sub-aquatic setting.
Nice video man, I also reccomend Rule Of Rose if you can find it. A very silent hill ish game that deals with themes of child abuse/neglect, got banned in alot of european countries cause of it. Has some fantastic voice acting and atmosphere and god damn it gets dark towards the end. Totally worth it though if you like stuff like silent hill.
I've owned Carrier since my teens and went through it back in April, when it takes place (also the last of the early 2020s). By the time I started it, it was already set in a future that's now in the past.
I rented the Wii version of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories once in '09.
It clearly says "Retroid" on that handheld.
Never played Clock Tower however I'm thrilled Limited Run is releasing it with the carbon engine. Kinda surprised OverBlood didn't make the list.
Blue stinger was a weird one but I had fun playing it on dreamcast. It had a Dino crisis 2 vibe if I remember correctly.
To see the Disaster Report series get any recognition these days is awesome! Raw Danger (Disaster Report 2) is amongst my favorite games ever, and to have be compared to the Resident Evil series is just great. I still hope for a port of the previous 3 games to modern platforms one day.
I love Raw Danger and the rest of the Disaster Report series. I was a little disappointed with how linear DR4 is but I hope they can bring back the branching storyline that the first 2 games had. I still need to play through DR3, so I guess I have that to look forward to.
with there being 2 dreamcast games on here i was surprised that blue stinger never showed up, it was one of my favourite survival horror games as a kid. like most dreamcast games nowadays i cant say it has aged well but it's still a good one worth checking out
Carrier was awesome one of my favorites on Dreamcast.
Another great and modern horror games is Signalis, very well made from our German friends. It’s on Switch, Xbox One and PS4.
thanks for this list. I've never played the second Fear Effect game, but the first one was a great experience. I also played the first Clock Tower and I still like it 👍
I played the second fear effect loved it the Chinese dude not to be trusted your find out but it's just as good as the first game
Hey man, love you channel!. Great list, i would really recommend you check out vampires countdown, a ps1 resident evil clone but with vampires, werewolves and all kind of monsters, and the most cheesy dialogs, you wont be dissapointed
Good to see Clock Tower on this list. Abandoned channel Clan of the Gray Wolf clued me in on that one. I loved Fear Effect and its sequel.
I love Cold Fear and Fear effect. They were great
I’ll definitely have to try a few from the list. Have you played Signalis?
I pulled Cold Fear for the PS2 from a Walmart bargain bin way back in 06 or 07 and it actually did have a map (it was just exclusively in the manual-remember those?-and still not very useful).
Bluestinger for the dream cast was the bees knees loved that game
Alisa is a good one. Eternal Darkness if you’ve never heard of that one. Echoes Of The Living is another one to keep an eye on, coming soon.
I’m actually playing fear effect right now and I can’t believe how good it is!!!
I played it back when I was about 15 or 16 when it first came out on PlayStation but I only got to play it for the first few minutes at a friends house and so the only thing I really remembered about it was that it looked awesome!!
But it is a game that I would say is worth being in your collection if you are a PlayStation aficionado, like myself!!
