Using Dupli Color Metalcast paint on a CNC plasma cut metal sign

Today we take you through the process of our latest sign and all the steps involved. from a sheet of raw 16ga sheet metal to a finished product with awesome Dupli Color Metalcast red paint.

Awesome sign!!! Hey have you ever polished that Metalcast paint? I used it on a pistol and one section didnt lay a smooth as the rest....dont want to stip and redo it but wondering if I can kind of polish it smooth. You have any thoughts about that?

Nothing worse than naughty consumables! Usually they would go bad just has I would look away, finishing up some paperwork, never as you were there to see it happening, lol

I heard because this paint is very transparent that the under coats or primer or finizh really matters alot... So it's supposed to look different according to the primer or finish your painting??

No primer on the front side. just added design to bare metal.

Water is a lot more of a mess, I really does have it's place though. the real reason is I don't heat the shop 24/7. I don't turn on the heat until I get home from my day job.
