Every year you have hate crimes against minorities and yes there is a section in the Indian Penal Code that deals with discrimination against SC/ST and you can find cases in this category, more often in certain parts of the country. Like so many parts in Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal and UP. And these states make up a huge chunk of the total population of India
