The Ultimate Glitter Napkin technique is one of my most popular videos, with almost 166,000 views on youtube (wow!).
I am so excited to share an updated video for the Glitter Napkin technique that I first did back in 2013. To see that video click HERE and the blog post is HERE: www.serenestamp...
Since I first shared that technique I've been asked if I'd do another video using current product, as some of the items I used have long since retired (ie. the heat and stick powder). Well, I've finally updated this sparkly tutorial and it's even quicker and easier than ever, with our Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets! Since I first shared that technique I've been asked if I'd do another video using current product, as some of the items I used have long since retired (ie. the heat and stick powder). Love it!! Makes you look at napkins in a whole new way :-) Need to go napkin shopping now
Oh Tina! THIS is why I've been following & watchin' you! Your glittery Reindeer card has made me feel very happy too - and totally Christmassy and it's only the 4th June! But, it's a very cold and rainy day - well it's colder than it was over a very sunny weekend! It must be time for Wimbledon! I HAVE to share and CASE it this Christmas ~ pretty please? Tfs ~ C ~ xOx
You now have another subscriber. I love the use if the glitter. Thank you. Ruth down under.
WOW, what a cool card and thank you SO much for the envelope demonstration! I love using that board!! Sure makes my card making a lot easier!! Victoria
That is so beautiful, Ruth down under.
Who knew a napkin could make such a gorgeous card. Thank you for sharing your talents. Great video. Have a great day!
You're so right - I don't look at napkins the same way anymore, because I'm seeing them as sparkly cards now! LOL xx
That turned out so gorgeous! What about burnishing with a brayer or rolling pin? Love the bow too! I never wanted an envelope maker, but now I do! God bless
Hi Tina thanks for a great video. Will now be watching out for different napkins to add to my crafting !! Love it. Many thanks. Di
Beautiful card Tina!!!
Hello Tina in Nova Scotia, this is Tina in New Brunswick, you now have me looking through my stash of napkins! Thank you
Hi Tina in NB! Where in NB are you? I was in Brown's Flat (hwy 102, on route to Gagetown) for seven years, prior to moving to NS three years ago. Hope you have fun with this technique!
Tina Zinck my son lives in Oromocto, we are in Moncton. I love card making and paper crafts of all sorts.
Hi Tina, “Thank you,” for the wonderful videos of techniques that you make for us. Your ideas are so inspirational. I appreciated you taking the time out of your busy day to do these videos. Take Care and May God Bless. ~Barbara
Thank YOU Barbara. Your comment really touches my heart. Big hugs! xx
That is one beautiful card Tina, thank you so much for sharing! I love Christmas, all the preparations, really enjoy making cards for special people!
Tina- thanks for sharing the card with us! It is lovely!
I REALLY APPRECIATE you showing this method. All other methods shown assume you HAVE or know what Versa Mark is. I appreciate this video so much.
I appreciate your comment so much, Kimberly! I'm glad you enjoyed this video and found it helpful! xx
Every time I see these card making videos, I am both thrilled and saddened! Thrilled to see a beautiful card take shape and saddened because it will be thrown away!
This is an awesome video. Thanks you! Also so you e shown me the easiest way to make a bow- including laying down that strip first. I go to craft classes and they always have us trying to tie the bow and tighten it up against the card front. Your method beats that hands down!
Thanks so much Sheryl!!!! xoxox
I am just now about to try making a napkin card so I was delighted to find this tutorial by you! It's great and your card is simply beautiful! TFS!

Denise - I have a secret to share with you -I'm actually using a wood-grain printed desk top paper under my project I'd love a real table with this wood grain look too!
Tina Zinck ....I did and it turned out beautifully 😊
@@DeniseWillerton awesome!!!
Lovely!!
Gorgeous card
thank you for this i was trying to figure out how to do this now that there's no heat n stick in the catalog wish i lived near you love your videos would be part of your stamp camp if i could im in wisconsin
Hi Stella. I miss that Heat and Stick powder - it was great! It is a shame Wisconsin is so far away from Nova Scotia, I"d love to have you at my stamp events! Have a great weekend (and thank you for watching - and enjoying - my videos!). xx
Beautiful! But the self-adhesive sheets are no longer available, so do you have a recommendation of what to use instead?
LOVE IT! THANKS!
So pretty!!
Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!
BEAUTIFUL
Tina love this card have you ever used to cling wrap technique. The bow look like a spider to me. lol. Cute.
Thanks Deborah - I haven't tried the cling wrap technique, I"ll have to give it a go!
Oh wow. Very nice
Maravilhoso seu card, amo glitter
une astuce : les bords de la serviette s enlèvent tres bien à la lime à ongle coté fin quand la serviette est sèche
You already answered my question.
Me again! Looks like the main difference in this video is that instead of a layer of heat & stick powder, you add another layer of adhesive to adhere the glitter. Since Stampin' Up currently has heat and stick powder available, but not the dazzling diamonds glitter, I'm curious which way you think shows off the dazzling glitter: using the Heat & Stick Powder, or using a 2nd sheet of adhesive?
What did you say the name of the glitter was? I love to glitter and sparkle my crafts, lol!! Your card came out beautiful!! ♡♡♡
The glitter is Dazzling Diamonds by Stampin` Up, it is a fine grade glitter and very sparkly. .
Hi - as Elaine mentioned, it's Dazzling Diamonds Glitter but unfortunately, Stampin' Up! no longer carries it.
Great tutorial. I am going to try this
Have fun!
Great card!
That is beautiful!
Thanks Alice!
Lovely
Awesome ,So Beautiful
Thanks Maggie!
so beautiful
Thank you! 😊
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Fantastic videos...super xx
Love this Tina. Now what do you do for an envelope.????
Mb Arsenault Hello Mb, she made an envelope using a punch board
Loooove it.
Cool!!
Very nice card.
What was the name of the adhesive?
top,top thanks for sharing the video
Beautiful 🌹
Thank you! 😊
Did you use Thick white card stock instead of the Heavier backing from the DSP packaging like you used in your 1st video?
Georgous
Thanks Susi!
New here, That is adorable! Thank you.
Hi Sherry - welcome to my channel! xx
Very good instruction video!!!
Great tools and supplies also from this company! Thanks for making videos for us!
Thanks so much Janet!
It's always my pleasure - I's so glad you're enjoying my videos! xoxo
HI THIS IS TINA MARKSWIFE
Have always loved glitter, hate the mess. How well does the glitter stick?
Hi Sheila - the glitter sticks really well to the adhesive sheets!
Another great video. I have lots of napkins I have brought for cards, now I know what to do with them instead of using an iron. Are you going to OnStage this month?
Hi Valerie. So glad you liked this technique. I didn't go to the OnStage, but am planning on attending the Leadership Conference in New Orleans this summer!
Just found your channel and love 💕 your work. I’m a napkin hoarder..yes I’m obsessed with them and this method of applying glitter to them is genius. Opens up a new way of using them. Unfortunately I’m having an issue trying to find those sheets with the links you provided.. are the sheets still available ? I’ll keep trying 🤞🤞🤞
Hi Sandra - welcome to my channel!!!! Unfortunately, Stampin' Up retired those sheets but I'm sure you'd be able to find them at a local craft store. You'll have so much fun using this technique with your napkins! xx
So any type of adhesive sheet will work just like the one you used ? Do you recommend any particular brand to use.
Lovely but im thinking it be a tad expensive if I wantedto make a whole bunch ... so I'm going to just use it for special cards ❤
Great idea!
Tina-I know this video is months old BUT where or how is the multi purpose adhesive sheets listed in Stampin. Cannot find this anywhere!!!! Help please and Thankyou.
Bunnie
Hi Bunnie - I'm so sorry I'm only seeing your comment now. Unfortunately, Stampin' Up no longer carries the adhesive sheets (UGH), so you'll have to order them via Amazon or go to a craft store. Let me know how you make out and have fun making these cards!
Whate is the white bawder?
could this process be done on tile? i love this tenique
Hi Karen. I've never transferred a napkin to a tile. You could try it with mod podge and then seal it with a varnish spray. Let me know if you try it!
If you are in Canada wish dollar store did you buy? Thanks very nice art
Hi Ada. The reindeer napkins came from the Atlantic Superstore.
on your first video you used a powder glue, could you tell me who makes it please, couldn't quite get all that you said. Many thanks Tina
Hi K - I'm sorry I'm only seeing your comment now. Stampin' Up no longer carries the "Heat and Stick" powder that you're referring too, but I think it's available at the big box craft store.
They are carrying it again! (January 2021)
Just stunning....dollar store, next stop...lol
Susan - hope you find some pretty napkins!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
