Get ready for some shocking battles as we compare the power of the Tesla Tank and the IFV + Tesla Trooper in Red Alert 2!
We will compare:
- 1v1 - with different veterancy levels
- Same cost battle - with different veterancy levels
Sidenote: Results can be a bit random sometimes, since depending on 'who shot first' will give a slight advantage to one side - however each test was run several times and presented results were the most common

Seems like since the IFV and trooper are cheaper, they gain veterancy way faster than the teslas, and that gives them the edge on the regular/veteran level group fights, while the tesla tanks hold the advantage in 1v1 and elite group fights since the promotion rate doesn't come into play.

You failed to make them approach each other giving a huge disadvantage to the approaching units.
If I remember right, IFV promotions don't affect the passengers' weapons, only its main weapon.
IFV weapons are based on the IFV's veterancy; battle fortress uses the passenger's veterancy. these two use completely different in-game logic.
In small fights non-moving has huge advantage over moving
(spoiler: but the improved range/splash of the Elite Tesla Tank is enough to make it irrelevant anyways lol)
Tesla tank turns into a tesla version of the prism tank at elite while having better armour.
1:35, GreenElf would have reprogrammed to make both of them at similar range or downright allow the IFV to approach the Tesla Tanks too.
I dunno, for me it represents advantage of tesla tanks in narrow spaces. Feels more organic without interfering too much with how units act or their parameters

It's that elite ifv has such insane broken dps, otherwise these would actually be worthwhile. Seen these get used in pro games rarely and only to flex when they already won.
An elite Tesla tank can fire through walls. Not sure if an Elite Tesla IFV can do the same. Also the Tesla Sparks seems to bounce causing area effects.
