- ► "Wat Umong Temple" is the first in a series of videos from Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Wat Umong is one of my favorite temples in Chiang Mai, it's a 700 years old historic forest temple, located in the hills just outside the center of Chiang Mai City. It's famed for it's network of tunnelways going into the hillside, with multiple prayer rooms of different sizes.
Also, it's a temple that attracts a lot of monks from all over Chiang Mai to go meditate and pray. It's a must-visit place if you ever visit northern Thailand. Until then, I hope you'll like this little video of it - Enjoy!

Hey SuperG! It's nice to see traditional places like this, it gives us idea how the tradition of one period passes through the next generation. I always love the nature because I grew up in this kind of place, great to reminisce my childhood days while seeing trees, animals and wide sky in your videos.
