i used to work for a stewarding company and managed to be on the floor when the weeknd came, in terms of the show i would definately say he was the best i have ever seen, he had a 60ft spaceship suspended above the stage and about halfway through the set the entire thing tilted vertically and became a massive tv screen whilst he performed the hills. will never forget it.

It's so surreal that after being a supporter of this guy's music for years, i get to see him at this level. His older music means more to me and many other fans because it comes from a more emotional place due to the circumstances he was facing at that time in Toronto. I also know that despite the reminders and still having the same essence, we will never hear something even close to HOB, Thursday or EOS. He is not in the same place, mood, maturity, stage in his life to produce something like that. This is what true supporters have to understand about Abel and realize that it is just part of musician's life to change their sound according to life experiences, whether they are good or bad. It's not a decision, it is a consequence that they can't escape from.
