I hope you enjoy my reaction to Eminem "Cleaning out my closet"! Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think. Thank you so much!
About 15 years after this song he released a song called "Headlights" which is about his relationship with his mom and how it has evolved as he's grown older. He also mentions Cleaning Out My Closet in that song and how he feels about it now. I can recommend it highly
Those 2 songs fitted my life perfect, when the Marshall Mathers LP came out i was about 11 and my mum was a heroin addict, we hated eachother. By the time headlights came out she was clean and i was over the moon for her I never got too close cos i knew me and her together always caused a problem ha but we became friendly.
Listen to castle and arose. Great story telling songs. Gotta listen to them in that order tho. I love when i find new reactors going down the eminem worm hole. He has a stigma attached to him for how brutal he can be, but he has many layers. The way he pens humility is something never done before amd probably will never be done again on that level
Actually was just going to mention Headlights. Such a great follow-up song to Cleanin’ out my closet. Love this channel. Just found it today! Huge Eminem song for over 20 years. Love the reactions!!
@@bkmillol4612 They said about. ~ They estimated. We shouldn't scrutinize someone for being incorrect when they are admitting of their lack of perfection.
Couldn't be more true! A new reaction channel I get, they just don't know ... But blows my mind when some of these guys who been reacting to Em for years play the clean version. Like you said, it's a completely different song, and ESPECIALLY Eminem fans, just ain't gonna fly with us. I just started watching this girl though I think since yesterday. She seems curious and genuine, and is obviously trying to be open minded and receptive to constructive criticism (a downfall to so many channels)!
My boy stopped generational (several maybe) curses dead in their tracks through sheer force of will. He cared for his daughter, and every child even remotely related to him and provided them with a loving home, to the point that they are all seemingly well-adjusted good people. They will never know the evil that he had to bear. That, I believe is Em's greatest message and legacy. That the hate you had to bear can be turned to love. For everyone who said that he was a bad influence, I believe he's been, throughout his life, one of the best role models ever.
It's always so fun to watch people discover Em for the first time. Most can't get past "slim shady: my name is" but he is one of the greatest story tellers.
If you want vulnerable Em AND a musical masterpiece, you HAVE to do two songs back to back because one is a continuation of the other. #1- Castle, #2- Arose. It’ll give you more insight into his life (and of course, full body chills)
He has touched the lives of many people....because he talks about situations that most of the time no one talks about....for me he is a great artist...I don't like all his work but he conveys his feelings to me in a a way that no one else manages to reach....it's real...and that already says a lot about him...for better and for worse....."Beautiful" The way I am" Mockinbird" Spaceboud" etc etc etc
Eminem has songs where his vocals are very impressive he can sing rather he admits it or not listen to his song “Not Afraid” the bridge in that song is perfection Please React to “Not Afraid” Music Video & “Survival” Music Video
As a lifelong Eminem fan, I appreciate your genuine reactions to his songs. The only other reaction channel I watch is Stevie Knight. Keep up the good work 👏
I’ve been listening to hip hop my whole life. I am now 33. I have just finally realized how much I didn’t understand hip hop and it’s all because of this man right here. His cadence, his wordplay, his everything is immaculate. If you get to the point where you have an Eminem ear. His songs just hit on a new level and I’m so happy I have gone back to listen to him and his greatness which also opened up the doors to the rest of the real hip hop scene. Hip hop is an amazing art form

What a reaction wow! I agree with you 100%, Eminem knows how to convey a message in his songs and this is one of his deeper songs. Keep up the good work.

I turned 18 years old in 2004. A pentecostal pastors son who was homeschooled from midway thru 6th grade to "graduation". I realized that I didn't believe what they did, even though I didn't know wtf I believed...but I knew I couldn't be under their roof any longer without disrespecting them and myself. So I moved out while they were out of town for a wedding, and my mom lost her mind in heartbreak when they came home and found my closet empty. I really wish I could do that over again, and change the past. But this song was really real for me then. Haven't heard it in 15 years, at least
Him coming up during my puberty when I was a mad kid, being thru a lot, I related a lot.. I grew with him, his lyrics being less mad overtime.. Still being real and raw af, every album growing… Love his songs❤

This is the first song i heard from eminem when i was 11, after my Father died from alcoholism 10 days after my birthday. You are on a journey to see why Eminem has the most enormous fanbase in the world : ). You may check Mookinbird is another open song about him, his wife, and his daughter. Also about the voice - later on, you must listen to some of his aggressive songs to see the difference and as time goes by and he gets older his voice gets different. If this gets to you - Castle & Arose (must be played back to back) will likely break you. Not only is it extremely vulnerable but it covers one of the most difficult battles of his life. If you’re not familiar with EM’s past, his mom is just the tip of the EM pain / trauma iceberg. The majority of people who experienced even a quarter of what he did would be dead (by their own hands or otherwise). EM truly had / has a purpose to fulfill and something (whatever you may believe in) has consistently ensured he lives it out. Great reaction!

where’d you get that microphone it sounds great.
His song "Leaving Heaven" is like the version of this addressed to his "dad" (Isn't just about his dad though) Came out a lot later and is more of his recent style of not so to the point flow wise. With more complex bars than a lot of these older songs. But, It has a great feature singing the hook.
Love your sense of humor! Subscribed after the Mariah diss. I look forward to watching every new reaction you do. Very genuine. Please react to Castle and Arose by Eminem.
All the best to you and your channel. From one of your day 1 subscribers.
10:21 is the best for me.. no words, just presses play.. that, atleast for me, says a 1000 words
We know when you get chill ... We still get em too!!
Let me just say this... You're a good soul. Keep doing this empathic emotions in your reactions. Much love. God bless you
Chills......yes.......
I see “chills chills chills chills chills” merch in your future lol.
To get the full effect of eminem you need to know his bio life story ...and also watch unedited versions

Great reaction! Eminem follows this song up later on with a song called "Headlights." It's an apology song to his mom and an understanding. Really good listen.
