I Want to say a huge thanks to Tony at LDC for this compilation. I never thought I'd be honoured with an entire episode! It's a privilege to have entertained you all with my clips here. Tony has created a fantastic community on his channel, and it's the reason I regularly contribute, as does everyone here. I know sometimes my profanities aren't to everyone's tastes, so I'll try my best to cut down on them.😂 Thanks everyone, stay safe out there, until next time. Thanks from me and Sarah Tony! All the best, "Richard from Halifax."
Thanks Richard for your kind words much appreciated as are your clips 👍
@@thelondondashcam also @Richard
Your input is appreciated along with the fkn profanity.
At least you are better than the soap #EastEnders but you're not a dodgy Market Inspector lol.
Whatever 😁😁😁
I bet your back camera is on mute that’s why u got no sound.
@michellesimpson4364. I will look into this properly. There are a few things I've not looked at whilst using the app provided for my dash camera. But fingers crossed I'll this licked hopefully come the time I contribute again. Thanks!😊
I'll have.....😅
Thanks Richard from Halifax for sending it in & Thanks The London Dash Cam for sorting it out 👏🤗🚕🚗
Anyone else thinking that Tony & Richard should do a road trip together? It'll be like Mortimer & Whitehouse, but with the fishing replaced by swearing.
We'll have a quacking time watching it too 😅
@@kungfutuber But would they be able to get all their ducks in a row?
Thx Richard, giving Tony a run for his money, and Tony for putting it all together.
Thank you Richard for a great selection of clips. You live in a lovely part of the country. Gorgeous scenery.
Like a drive round a few miles away
Hipperholme, Elland, and central Halifax enjoyed your commentary too, well done Richard & Sarah 🎉
The car in vol. 326 is an Edsel. They were made by Ford in the late fifties in the States. They didn't sell. They got the name from Henry. Ford's son, Edsel. 🇨🇦
I knew it was an Edsel as well. It just screamed "I'm an Edsel" at me as soon as I saw it, even in a blurry video clip. (was it blurry, or was it my lap-top playing up?).
They were so ugly. How they ever got off the assembly line is beyond me.
You had to give the Audi credit for using the left turn signal. 3:15
I’m not sure, but I think the old car might have been in 1957, Plymouth Fury Which was the car they used in the film Christine
Interesting neck of the woods. Very up and down and quickly out of the town centre into the country. Changed a bit since I lived there [1950’s!], lot more traffic. I don’t remember my Dad ever swearing when he drove. Even the LDC can’t match Richard for profanity but I like the way it doesn’t come across as worked up or angry and doesn’t affect Richard’s driving.
Victor Meldrew II. LOL x
I know what it is @ 9:18.....An old car 😁😂🤣 Couldn't resist.
9:13 I think it is a 1958 oldsmobile super 88 but I'm not certain
I like Richard even tho never met him his language is like mine and I've worked on the steelworks for 40 yrs 👍👍👍
@9:10 Correctly identified by #SuburbanDon according to the images I found. The rear view seals the deal for me.
Enjoyed this compilation.
Tony has competition when it comes down to the 🤬🤬.
The Audi at the lights may have been flashing to make sure the sensor had seen them. Maybe.
05:55 I don't think the Audi was flashing Richard through, some drivers think that flashing temporary lights triggers the sensor to turn the lights green on their side
That does work, or I may just have been lucky.
The American car; It's one that was acquired 'one piece at a time and it didn't cost me a dime it's a 1950,51,52,53,54,55 ,56,57,58,59 automobile' as Johnny Cash once sang about, possibly an Edsel, Henry Ford's son's first attempt at car manufacturing !!
13:37 ''ACORN'' was thinking about now that was referring to the drivers brain ---- yet right again
Great videos....seems to have kept the negative prat commenters away too. Nice one Richard & Tony ❤x (and Sarah)
They are biding their time.
Ooops...there's one above
That black car looks like a Ford Edsel from the fifties. US.
Or a Galaxie or maybe a Plymouth?. Nvm definitely an Esdel by the rear
Definitely an Edsel, Ford's biggest flop.
its an Edsel, with the vagina modelled grille
I was really offended at Richards language. I might put in a complaint to You Tube about this toxic channel. What a cunt.
I thought the same
The old car could have possibly been a Chevrolet Belair not too sure though.
Nice one Richard!
Cracking countryside with lovely language, a great combination.
I don’t think that was a flash to let Richard through at 5:57. It was a flash with the misconception that it will trigger the sensor on the traffic lights. They are mostly motion activated with a timer if no motion is detected (in case of stuck traffic…a car stalled or similar)
The flash does nothing
I came to the comments to say the same.
Upon reflection, I would agree Bob. A lot of people would misinterpret this as to give way to the other side, and some people do. I initially thought that was the Audi's intention here, so I think I got this one wrong to be fair.
@@RICKMATICK1985 You got it right to ignore what they were 'indicating'
@@RICKMATICK1985 It could well have been the intention of the Audi - “My light is red, if yours is as well then after you”
However I would be questioning a friendly gesture from an Audi driver 🤣
(All in jest to the good Audi drivers out there)
Also the thing that amused me was when Richard talk’s about the little Citroen going through the red light and never a Copper when you need one
If people know the area that crossroads is only a few hundred yards from Halifax Police Station too lol 😂
Excellent. ‘alifax looks nice.
The audi wasn't flashing for richard to go , he was flashing to get the lights to change for him to drive through
Good video language approved of 👍
Rainbow x
Great videos Richard ❤ I’m glad that someone else using their handbrake while in traffic or traffic lights as I have got moaned at for using my handbrake to much and I tell them it’s how I was taught.
It's how I was also taught Michelle. A prime example is in one of my earlier contributions on the channel where a car rolls back into me, as I'm in standing traffic. So appropriate use of the handbrake should have been used.
@@RICKMATICK1985 I remember that clip
I can't recommend electric handbrakes enough, they are great. Just give the brake pedal a little pressure when stationary and hey presto. Drive off by pressing the throttle and handbrake is released. Even better is that my car has hill start something or another and won't roll back, for two seconds, after accelerating.
@@michaelgrant1160 my handbrake is you just pull it up but then have to press a button to release it. I drive a Suzuki xcross.
@@michellesimpson4364 So just a handbrake, very amusing. With an electric, (perhaps that should be electronic, don't know and don't care), handbrake you just drive off. No delays, no remembering that the handbrake is on and no rolling back. I've just read that 91% of new cars have electric braking and it will soon be 100% because, I would suggest, it's a much better arrangement, a more convenient one and a safer one.
No sooner had I watched one of your videos than I took a shine to your channel Guv!
Some phakin MUGS can't drive for a toffee, let me tell ya.
That's bang out of order! Are they having a Turkish son ?
Greetings from Casablanca Morocco to my beloved nation, the Brits ❤
We BLOODY love ya all to bits 😘😍🤩🤗
I'll be seeing ya!👋
At about 10:00 is there anything in the Highway Code that actually says you _must not_ block any junctions, or is it up to the driver to decide whether he's a twat?
Well, you cannot miss the huge markings can you, driver definitely is said "twat" there.
Thanks to Richard ,Sarah and Tony for the upload , nice to see the usual twats on the road , have a great weekend drive safe 👍👍
From Diamond Southern Softy to Narven Mankey. Big giveaway was the nice countryside. Much nicer up North.
Halifax and Bradford have terrible drivers. The trouble is that we see a lot of private hires from Bradford, Halifax and Wakefield on our streets. A crazy combination.
At 06:30 there is a railway bridge and the light-painted section is a fossilized (and transplanted from elsewhere) cast iron girder bolted in two sections with the attachments for the wrought iron trusses. These were found to be quite useless after the Dee Dridge disaster 24 May 1847. This section is a miraculous survivor being simply re-used but not structurally.
Am I going mental or is that opening 90 seconds or so of Brighton seafront?
it is
@@robinjones6999 I thought so, but not been along there for a bit and sometimes 'all places' look familiar, to me at least!
Haven’t been there for years, but definitely Brighton. Does anyone know what that really tall pole thing is? Definitely wasn’t there the last time I visited.
@@ericaleak3170 From memory that's the 360 - a revolving, elevating restaurant/observation thing?
@@ericaleak3170 looks like a statute of penus, Brighton it is after all.
6:11 I would suggest it's at least as likely the audi was flashing at the lights to get them to change! The number of times people do that at temporary lights is crazy. (Though I doubt anyone doing that will top the time I saw someone flash their lights at a set of traffic lights at a junction - quite how they expected the road surface sensors to "see" them flashing their headlights I don't know!)
i gota theroy for roundabout cutters. they must be flat earthers
remember kids its AROUND the roundabout not flat over
The fucking language...
😂
pretty typical for that part of the country
He he he❤
9.10 - 9.13.the car is a 1958 Ford Edsel
I wonder how many people are saying always an Audi because of this channel.
Not many I hope. i
It is now so tired and dog eared. And not correct, as all makes and models of vehicle make the driving errors shown. (Plus 'Selective Editing')
Hi just a query regarding your Viofo dashcams. Did you purchase them Viofo uk or via aliexpress? I found them cheaper via aliexpress.
I bought one from Amazon and the other one was sent to me free of charge by Viofo to do a review on and after you do the review you keep the Dashcam
3:59 Drivers will always do this if there's no consequence to their actions. Typical example of regulation with no enforcement.
the woman at 8:45 a fluke in a juke
Could be a Chevrolet Bel Air
Well if you're going oop north, I'm in Bradford and I'm sure I can do better than Richard from Halifax any day.😂
Challenge accepted Misanthrope!😎👍
😂
When lived in west yorkshire , running red lights is was a given.
The main rule you always break is driving on the left. They do it in Japan too. WTF!?
Nice obscure American petrolhead moment - quite a few differing guesses.
I've not got a clue what it was but it looked in good condition.
I think the American car is a Oldsmobile not shaw about the year 50s60s area
I used to work in Halifax (and I recognise where many of these clips were filmed!), so I can confirm: the general standard of driving round there is atrocious, which makes taking a driving test 'interesting', to say the least, and one of the reasons that test centre has such a low pass rate
my response times to traffic lights were also sharpened by a local speciality, junctions with very short green phases, e.g. the one at 1:54 - 3:57, which has at least minute and a half on red, and 3 seconds on green; this is far from the only example in the area
there were several recurrent tropes I saw when it came to bad driving: people routinely ignoring the 'no right turn' sign at the town end of Hopwood Lane, people at the Hanson Lane/Queens Road junction pulling out on a red light when they got bored with waiting (which I saw no less than six times), and people at ASDA parking on the hatched areas that are a) not spaces and b) only wide enough for 3/4 of a car
I can only think there's a lot of lead in the water round there
News from me:
The police force is so gosh darn terrible at being police because they are mass buyers of the BMW X series
Usually for unmarked cars
General comment - I'm surprised that there aren't cameras on all traffic lights. If there was, the revenue raised until drivers wised up would sort out the economy!
I'm sure it's just me. But the intro music of your video's always makes me feel Christmassy.
5:40 onwards. Might also have just been a dent in the street that caused the flash? He is higher and Richard wobbles a bit up n down around the Audi.
9:30 Looks like a Batmobile
Maybe you should consider adding some more derogatory alliterative descriptions akin to "Berk in a Merc" and "Always an Audi". May I tentatively suggest *BELL-END IN A BEAMER* 😀
Ha ha ha...class❤
Clown in a Kia / Fool in a Ford / Stupid in a Seat / Jerk in a Jag / Tool in a Toyota. etc etc...
No bicycles to swear at!! 😢
They are about up here, but not as frequent as we see them on the channel. I'll try my best to look out for them.😂
@@RICKMATICK1985 Glad to hear that you look after cyclists.
they're pretty rare in West Yorkshire generally, probably due to all the hills (and heavy goods traffic serving the industrial works and warehouses); the few you get tend to be road-wise
@lefthandedspanner. I can also attest to this. In all the clips I've contributed, I've only had one instance involving a group of cyclists. They are a rare sight up here.
@@RICKMATICK1985
You lucky bassa
The Car you didn't recognise was a Fatmobile. Just kidding.🧸
Not allowed to say Fat anymore....we'll get into trouble off Fat people❤
Can't say fat anymore apparently x
@@suziforester I never bother with anything the Nazi Government in England says. If that was true you would not be able to go into a Shop and buy Fat for Cooking. You would have to ask for Rapeseed oil. Although I wouldn't put it pass the Government to ban People from using the word Rape.🧸
@@Jamienomore Now you are being silly. But fat shaming is no laughing matter, as is any other 'shaming'.
@@Andrewwhite-zt2zj The Vehicle was big and wide like all American Cars. From the front it looked like the Batmobile. I am sorry you do not have enough Intellect to work that out. In my Reply Comment, the Fat I was refering to was the kind you use when cooking. It is called Fat. Pity you didn't know that either.
Something odd going on with YT, video history says I only watched 10 minutes, even though I watched to the end. I hope this shows as fully watched for your revenue stats.
This has happened a few times recently, a new scheme to avoid paying content creators?
A chevy Bellair, the petrol head moment
Am I first ❤
Looks like it 😊
No the one above is first to make an actual comment.
Many thanks Tony for sharing Richard from Halifax’s compilation. Very entertaining 👍👍👍
@@davidellis8141 That's me then
Jesus, the first clip is a car in a wrong lane, it causes "Richard" no hardship yet he has to blow off by calling him names. Richard, is a bellend.
Observation is not your strong point then obviously, drives over hatched markings was on the phone then undertakes then jumped a red light as I say observation not your strong point 🫣.
@@thelondondashcam I don't spend my time driving permanantley looking through my rear view mirror.
@@thelondondashcam You ASSUME he was using a phone. He stopped and left a good gap. Yes, the red light was a no no but Richard is endemic of the "holier than thou" contingent of clowns we have on the road. Just get on with your life.
I don't know if it's because you're not a regular viewer on this channel, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. On this channel, German cars are the butt of the joke on here. Yes, the Audi was in the wrong lane, and credit to it, it took the left turn safely and with no obstruction to other road uses. What I said was "banter" for the comedic element of the channel, which 95% of Tony's viewers will understand.
Cornz38 is a bigger bellend
Only audi drivers can do that, and get away with it
Thanks Richard from Halifax for sending it in & Thanks The London Dash Cam for sorting it out 👏🤗🚕🚗
