I bought a new cartridge m2 blue and the cantilever came out crooked, that shows that the build quality is quite poor...

I'm using Ortofon cartridges since 1983 and never ever experienced what you are talking about. I think there must be another problem, may be it was not new or in otherwise damaged before you got it.

Ich bin immer noch sauer, daß Ortofon keine guten, bezahlbaren MC mehr anbietet. Das als Nr. 2 verkaufte kostete früher 200 €, jetzt vielleicht 300. Dafür bekommt man jetzt nur noch das Billigste. Ich habe die Marke gewechselt.
