    Warning: do not confuse BSP with NPT threading. Thread count for 1/8" fittings looks the same to the naked eye, but the taper is different. Mating these two standards in a high pressure system is unsafe: your thread engagement will not be what you think it is, or barely engage. You will not find qualified help [or BSP] at your mega-retailer hardware store, and may need to purchase from a valve/fitting specialty supplier. Go buy the right stuff, rated for your max working pressure and thank yourself later.

    Thanks for all the time, study and labor to make the reviews, Tyler, but this one wasn't quite complete with no decibel test.
    It looks to be an accurate PCP repeater, and a Lot of gun for $300; and agreed, the light weight would be helpful in carrying at the ready for hours.
    The $50 price on one replacement magazine seems out of proportion. They can manufacture all those parts, assemble, package and ship them for $300 retail, yet the mag costs 1/6 ? Good opportunity for someone to sell aftermarket.

    Great review! Almost bought the Coyote and would seriously consider the Urban, I like the lighter weight BUT I won't be buying either until they do something about the ridiculous price of spare magazines--$50 @ pop! I'd want at least 2 extras so that's $100 more to start with. I purchased FOUR spares for my Marauder .25 and FOUR for my Hatsan AT44. In both cases all FOUR magazines cost me less than ONE spare for the Gamos. Yeah, they were both on sale but if not 3 for either one would be about $45. Come on Gamo/BSA, is there gold in them thar mags???

      Edward Marcot yea I hear yea. I second that. I need atleast 2-3 mags for ANY Rifle and to pay 100-150bucks for 2-3 mags when the Rifle itself only cost $220 at some places right now (02/19/18) would just be frign insane! Hell even if the gun was still 300 bucks it would be just DUMB to pay 100-150bucks for 3 extra mags for a gun that only cost twice that. These people at GAMO are crazy and the buyers who are paying those prices are Tards!

    Awesome reviews! I have been shopping for my first pcp for some time and as part of my own research I always reviewed your video to get the nuts and bolts, so thanks! I recently bought this gun after seeing it for $199 shipped!. I am completely amazed with the low noise level, smooth bolt, balanced weight, and most surprisingly, the power. The first 3 things I did was to: 1. Purchase/install a 10mm trigger screw so that I can actually adjust it, and it is now a hair trigger, but not unsafe, 2. adjust the power. I learned the factory has tuned it to where one gets the most shots. Since it is so easy to do, I have been tuning it up and down depending on my usage at the time, and 3. I bought a 2 point sling with a thumb loop. I'm still trying to find a good video that shows the best placement for the swivels, so that's a work in progress.

    Here in the UK on sub 12 ft-lb I have found that the jsb 5.52mm work best I my BSA ultra SE so if it is a BSA barrel they are the pellets of choice. If you like the gamo try the ultra SE smaller than the gamo and very accurate and pointable but if you want a higher shot count try the r10 it's also got a regulator so the power will be more consistent

    Shouldn't the gauge be towards the rear or the side of the gun. I don't like the fact that you have to point the barrel in your direction to check the PSI.

    Tyler, this appears like a very nice option for an entry level PCP. My concern is with Gamo as a company. I have read that their customer service is horrible. So I would be concerned if repairs were needed or with warranty claims. I don't want a PCP that can't be repaired or is a big hassle to get repaired. Would appreciate your comments. Thanks for the great rewiews.

    • @tylerpatner6591
      @tylerpatner6591 Před 6 lety

      That's fair, I've honestly never had to deal with Gamo as a customer with an issue with one of their rifles, but I have read a lot of negative experiences surrounding their customer service. I've also read some good feedback about it, but more negative than positive sadly.

      @geojohnson5613 Před 6 lety

      Thanks for your reply. I pulled the "trigger" this week and ordered the Gamo Urban. After all my research, it still appears to be the best deal for an entry level PCP. It arrived today in it's original box...not double boxed for protection as it should have been. Luckily nothing was damaged.

"wish it was the .22" however now that BSA is letting gamo build their guns i can see there going from a solid stock to a hallow gamo stock which means that their guns are being built cheaper and cheaper the more gamo releases. its sad to see such a good BSA gun design ruined by gamo.
