Deepin 23 arrives more polished than ever with shining DDE, atomic updates, enhanced stability, ARM64 support, AI enhancements, and more.
Deepin 23 debuts with an overhauled system repository that supports newer hardware architectures, including ARM64, RISC-V, and LoongArch64, which promises improved stability and security across various devices.It is also worth mentioning that introducing a new repository for version 23 has seen the upgrade of over 8,000 core packages.
“Atomic Updates,” a new installation and upgrade mechanism designed to minimize disk space usage during updates and provide a flexible, robust system backup and rollback capability. This feature is a game-changer for users prioritizing system stability and security during upgrades.
Deepin V23 integrates UOS AI, which connects to AI models to enhance daily tasks with capabilities like image editing, email management, and global search within the operating system.

Hi, thanks for reviewing deepin. It looks like that you downloaded an outdated ISO, I tried the final version ISO and no Chinese showed up in an English installation.
Deepin have the best Designers. We are using cellphones made in china why not deepin Linux?

While I love the aesthetics?.....the biggest problem I have with Deepin's DE?....is the "Different Wallpaper For Each Workspace" thing. LIke....SOME folks want and need the desktop background to remain the SAME when switching between them! And you'd think there would be a way to enable / disable this...but nope....we literally have to go to each workspace/desktop and change the wallpaper ourselves!....

I recently installed Deepin OS on my HP laptop, but after the installation was completed, it won't boot. I'm getting an error that says, 'Operating System not found. Please install an operating system on the hard disk.' Can anyone guide me on how to fix this issue?

Looks amazing. Dunno why Ubuntu doesn't use this as default.
Actually, there is an Ubuntu spin that ships with deepin DE call UbuntuDDE, and let me tell you, that thing was an absolute buggy mess the last time I tried, it doesn't integrate well at all with GTK or Qt applications (which 99% linux graphical apps are based on), the scrolling from the touchpad was pure hell, laggy animations all over the place, limited customization options, etc... Not to mension the spying that the deepin OS was caught doing in the background for the Chinese gouverment.
So yeah, no wonder why no distro ships this by default, especially a mainstream one like Ubuntu.

@@dand337 I'm not sure, somebody reviewed the source code and found some shady services that might be collecting some data.
@@dand337 I'm not sure, but considering the controversial history of deepin with their sketchy ad service in the app store and the involvement of the Chinese government, I would be a bit concerned about their privacy policies.
@@P1XEL07 deepin's spying nothing, what they caught was something like google analytics in the appstore and it's totally removed long time ago.
