I really enjoyed this video. I started working in Victoria Street in ‘96 this brings back great memories
I first moved to London (N16) back in September 1996 at the age of 18 from Northampton. It was a wonderful place back then.
I went back in 2023, some ten years after leaving. What a hole it had become.
London was such a nice city back then. It was still affordable and public transport like buses were still cheap. The more recent redevelopment of London with so many sky scraper office and apartment blocks has ruined the city.
Nice capture! Thanks for sharing this footage ... Have a wonderful day!
Very interesting video. Brings back a lot of memories👍. The road layout and buildings haven't changed much, but the most notable change are the vehicles of the 90s compared with the present vehicles of 2022. The vehicles back in the 90s where square shaped compared to the bubble shaped vehicles we have in present 2022.
Great footage of London that I use to remember thank you for sharing your video
Nostalgia, I remember the 36 route master with the yellow banner logo design.
Used to be alot of banging 24 hour cafes along the street @1:32, they all closed about 5/6 years ago, i remember many late night trips to get full english breakfast at Victoria Station, oddly, you would always get the station workers hanging about, not like the homeless invasion you get these days at Victoria
Bon-a sman-a. RS
Everything is changed but the roadworks
Cool
holy crap this is the year i was born :0 early october but late in the year
Londra è una delle nostre città preferite... com'è cambiata
As a very young man from New Zealand this was a very exciting place to spend a few months.
Always said I'd go back, never did.
I would have been living in Victoria when this was filmed.
Thanks for sharing, takes me back to a time when my world was full of endless possibilities.
